Falcon coaches and Desmond were to blame for that interception. The plays were not called in quick enough which resulted in delay of game penalties. Had the coaches paid attention they could have called a time out and avoided that delay of game penalty and maybe that would have calmed Desmond down thus avoiding the interception.

Desmond RIdder, great DI QB, but a well below-average pro QB and that's okay. Not every guy is going to be amazing right out the gate, like Pat Mahomes and Josh Allen even struggled their first seasons, but by year two and three they usually show great turnaround.
This guy may be even worse than Zach Wilson, who I really thought would be a great pro backup QB, but Ridder who was probably a 85 overall college QB, but not even a 70 overall in pros.
