Is there any way I can get into contact with you and maybe have some help with this deactivation appeal I’m dealing with? I’m from MA, where it’s “unionized” although it VERY much feels the same if not worse but. I was deactivated for alleged unsafe driving by 2 random passengers who while driving I had absolutely no issues with and they permanently deactivated my account I don’t know if you can help but it’s really not all fun and games in MA and I haven’t even been able to speak with a human regarding this. It’s just like it’s always been, a robot like email messages you and tells you things very vaguely, and you have no means to actually talk to a human and explain yourself. Idk anything helps but I appreciate what you do for the community and just in general!!!! Bless you man

Here is something not mentioned. In NJ, we drive blind. We don't know where they're going how far and how much we will get pay. I had 3 dangerous incident canceling a trip after the ride told me where he was going and he started flipping out on me saying you are going to drive me or I am taking you car. I perpare myself for combat and advice him to call Uber because they didn't tell me where you were going, and I not traveling 1.5 hours and get surprised with 50.00 pay. Good thing he decided to get out and was able to see his family the next day. Semper Fi

Can you please talk about the Minnesota new minimum fares that started on Dec 1st. This plan was tailored to the Minneapolis drivers .
All these negotiations and meetings and what not did not take it into consideration that there’s other drivers in the 3 smaller markets, and as far as Lyft goes, I made way less than minimum these past three days Lyft still showing us the upfront fares.

Uber uses the rate card in my market. We do not get that privilege of the destination until we have an 85% acceptance rate. An 85% acceptance rate in my market would be the stupidest thing. a driver could do because so many pick ups and destinations are 3 to 4+ miles away.

Is legal for Uber to continue to do this ?

According to the TNC

(1) At the time a driver is being offered a potential ride assignment, the TNC must provide the driver with
the approximate mileage and time to the pickup location and approximate mileage and time of the
requested ride.

Most drivers including myself have quit over getting four dollars for a total 12 mile ride because these calculations are based off the same calculations that a rate car would.

Thank you for looking into this cause I cannot find any information of course asking Uber is like asking a potato if it knows how to wash dishes

Great content as always. Maybe when some of the these commenter's comment, they are typing correctly what they want to say but the darn auto correct takes over and changes the wording to something entirely different. Just a thought. It happens to me sometimes if I don't proofread what I typed.

❤❤❤ Great content Professor! This whole business model is PATHETIC! Passengers are raped and robbed, drivers are making less than minimum wages WITHOUT benefits! The only answer is to ban together at the local level! Join a LOCAL team! Keep up the AWESOME job Professor! Stay strong 💪💯💪 and BLESSED!

I always use the pin requirement on all my rides and keep my doors locked, and confirmation of pin and name before I unlock them
