the only issues are hooligans who gives a damn about who is playing... they just want to beat each other up... one day they are for one team and next game they are for a different team... just where they think they have the best chances of a fight... some few people are really stupid...

That "hooligan" thing is real. They meet after the game has ended to bonk each others noggin. They call it "3rd halftime". It's literally war.

Some people think football is a matter of life and death. I assure you, it's much more serious than that .

i still hold that the ksc has the most anti-social fans, even before pauli and schalke.
after their games the route to the nearest tram leads by my house and i don't even bother trying to keep them from pissing and puking over my fence anymore.

This is in Baden-Württemberg, Karlsruhe was the capitol of Baden and Stuttgart was the capitol of Württemberg. This is the reason for "extra passion", while meeting each other.

The blue Team was from Karlsruhe, where I live. Of course I'd support them 😁 Not every game is like this, most of the time it's quite peaceful, there are only certain matches that go out of hand and the hooligan problem is not to underestimate. By the way it's not allowed to throw flares on the field, the club whose fans did it, gets punished for it.

i just dont like to pay taxes to send cops to a football game cuz people aka men behave like fighting apes and burn and destroy the surrounding cuz "they dont like the enemy team". we need our cops. maybe for the psychotic neighbour of mine who put glue into the doorlocks and destroyed my garden. just cuz he is psycho. well i give up. at least better as in the states, where the colour of your skin can mean death just because of the racism (we have here too)

Derbies are always special. The biggest stadium in germany is in Dortmund witha capacity of more than 80'000 , and iff there is a derby with Schalke the whole city if filled with thousands of Fans and several Hundreds of Police, many on Horses. Winning a Derby is nearly as important to them as winning the Championship.

just a mass of asocial garbage at each others throats like cavemen ... if you enjoy this then you already have a huge personal problem. Shame our police and city officals have this "lets just watch" policy and let these cavemen ruin sports for normal people. I was in a stadium once. My sister’s ex boyfriend actually played for Karlsruhe for a whileso they dragged me with them. It was scary but so fun at the same time. The vibe just makes you giddy, whether you like soccer or not. 😂

This are mainly police spotters that look for rival fan groups coming by or they film the croud in case there are any crimes like throwing bottles, burning flares, which is not a crime in general in Germany, it depends which type of flares you are using: those certificated in Germany or those that are not. So it varies between irregularity and crime.

I've been to Iron Maiden Metal Concert in Stuttgart and the Train Station of Stuttgart is nothing less than a hopeless labyrinth. After the concert it took about 1 1/2 hour to find back to the garrage to my car again. I will never go by car there again. It is just futile in Stuttgart to get there by car but if you go by train it is possible that the trains delay or are cancelled completely just because of some technical problems. So if you want to take place on an event in Stuttgart - better be from Stuttgart - HAHAHAHAHA!

Soccer in Germany sometimes is like war. I don't appreciate that. Just because of it to be sports instead. I can't understand some soccer factions to be that fanatic to call up the police. It is a sad fact about german soccer. You got Hooligans all over the world but hey... shouldn't be Germany some kind of model for competetive sports without brute force? In the end it is all about a fair game between two teams. Nothing more - nothing less. May the best one win.

Germany brought back mounted police mostly for football games.
They just have a better view on what's happening and can move faster in the parks that often surround stadiums.
