Base Game Sims 4 features you thought were locked behind packs

I forgot that the sales table was in the Sins Sessions items.

That speaker stand though, my sims find that in the dumpster alllll the time.

Sandy from Around the Sims has a custom swing set in her kids playground pack, and Ravasheen has a set called Mood Swings, which has some standalone swings (optional frame peaceable separately) you can hang (by lining up with alt) from tree branches, beams indoor ceilings, anywhere you like!

How do you know if they’re locked behind packs or not? I’m a console player if that makes a difference or not when checking

The fact that this video just changed the game for people who only own bg, I’ve never seen anybody talk about this table being like a sales system and owning a shop in bg, this is game changing for those people! I’m so glad and now I’m gonna be using it as well cause I never knew it was functional, I always saw it in cottage living videos so I lost hope but now I know that I have it with city living and basegame!

The table trick is so handy! I started Deligracy's new game play challenge but couldn't figure out how to sell baked goods without owing a bakery. Now it makes sense! Thanks for sharing these tips <3

Satch, I personally own a cc of a growing together bgc swing, so basically the cc maker turned the growing together swing into basegame, and I use it all the time, I also believe I have a few more swings, they’re just really hard to find

MercuryFoam has a mod that brings back Sims Sessions and makes the stage fully usable!

Does the piano stage need to have stairs, or should sims be able to get up on it./doesn't work either way?

There is a nice swing cc set by Ravasheen, she even seprated swing and frame so you can put the swing anywhere. Mood swings i think it is called.

That single table has added TONS of gameplay time in the basegame alone.... Cafe... Ornament store... etc etc... there's so much you can do!... thanks, Satch!

Any idea from where i can download sims 4 also tell me what is the difference between deluxe version with all dlc and the regular one i checked all the requirement once i downloaded but the installation stuck at 83 made me rage quit

A creator I know of that has made a basegane compatible swing set is Lil dica, I think it's in the Katy Perry Sweets Sets of his..

I can't get over how braindead the "using lots from the gallery is stealing" take is. The gallery only exists so that people can share their creations for other people to use in their games. If they don't want someone else using their Sims or lots, they don't have to upload. Anyone accusing you of "stealing" for simply using a lot has to have the brain of a young toddler.

Just use a mod to remove the shopping cart. I think I used the one by Simatically. Such a relief to not see it every time I play!

The Kalintr0n made a palm swing that looks like a bent palm tree! its one of my favorite CC objects. perfect for island living and oasis springs. however i think the tree mesh was taken from island living so it might still be required.

And the mini-van vendor stands that you got with the tents from the gallery are functional too! (and this part ISN'T glitchy)

As a Minecrafter who get a free major game update yearly after only paying $25 over a decade ago, the sims as a franchise is horrifying to me. Microsoft would do wonders with this game if they could get their hands on it. Imagine the cross platform multiplayer they would make possible. Anyway, loved the video!

I believe that the code from the vintage glamour vanity table was added to the base game when modern luxe kit came out.

I don't know if the same thing happens every time a gameplay object from a pack gets added into a different pack

The CC pack Sweet Treats from LittleDica comes with a swing-set! it’s a Katy Perry inspired CC pack so it’s very busy and colourful but it does have one.

I have plenty of cc swing sets. I particularly live ravasheens sets since she liberates them from the bar and I can have it look like it's hanging from the tree or a patio

Ravasheen (an awesome mod creator) has made cc swings for the game. You can even put them in a tree branch as if the kids built it themselves.

I was going to say I knew sales table functionality was in base game - I had cc that took advantage of that for a couple years before I bought JA and didn’t need it anymore - but I didn’t realize there was an actual base game table in debug now so you don’t even need a cc object to hook to the functionality! Great for console players.

Vanity Tables and Rocking Chairs also have base-game coding. Peacemaker has a whole set of Rocking Chairs CC that are base game that I use all the time.

I can't remember where I found it, but there WAS a CC creator that made a swing set with tires connected to a tree. Or the tires might have been wishful thinking and it was just a regular rope swing connected to a tree. I'd been looking for my sister, but it's been a while.

Bikes are also coded for base game, just not for kids. There are a few cc bikes for base game available :)

Found this video just as (thanks to a question on Reddit) I decided to do a Base Game Only save! I won't be able to use the changing table one, because I've decided it's going to be mod/cc-free, but I like the yard sale! :) P.S. There's a way to disable DLC if you don't want Judith Ward popping up at your base game yard sale.
