If Tom's assessment of Deshaun Watson is correct and that he is still struggling with regaining his throwing motion after re-constructive shoulder surgery, could the Brown's recommend to Watson that he go on rehab for the rest of the year and use that time to perfect his throwing motion? Then, for the short term they could turn the reins over to Jamies. It doesn't solve the long-term issue but it provides a more graceful way to deal with the current conundrum. Of course, there may be a contractual reason that negates this idea and, of course, Watson would have to agree to the arrangement.

The Lions will reestablish their position as NFC North Champions Sunday. There is no way to replace DE Aidan Hutchison. Losing him is simply devastating. Hutch was not only leading The NFL in sacks, the other facets he brought daily cannot be quantified. As special player and human being. A terrible loss.
