You have to feed your cells for energy in order to maximize performance. Try including more greens like Spirulina, Kale and Spinach. Beet powder is good too. For sweetener try Whole Earth with stevia and monk fruit. I'm also premed, following my own DIY program. Much love and success to you.

“I just wanna do my best, try my best, and hope for the best”- Brelynn 2022

YES!!! This is what I live by everyday brelynn. Doing my best and remembering that life happens, and when it does, trying my best to roll with the punches. From my view, you are doing a great job!!! Keep on doing your best brelynn!! That’s what’ll matter when you look back on the journey.

When I was in grad school, I would take 5 Hour Energy Drink. It's a shot drink you can buy in the grocery stores. Oh, how it saved me!

Get you a “B12” shot each week or every other week will help . Anxiety medicine may help as well. You can take it for work related, anxiety or school study to help you get through each day.
I pray your 🎤 was off (new black professor) . Lol Read the books lol

Okay…it always seems like your in a bizarre zone when the things you like to do seem out of place with the new routine. GO WITH THE FLOW!!! If you don’t have to put on makeup then don’t! Simply as that. However, skincare is totally different. Here’s what you do. Just keep to the basics, wash and moisturize. Until you have time to make a change or try a new product. Right now, your time fits another more important priority. As you know, good/consistent skincare requires even more attention that good makeup, but time and outcomes and corrections just take too much time. With love I suggest a mild cleansing that you know works and its complementary moisturizer from the same product line for now until your time is freer. ITNOJ…MOJ.

Loved this, as usual. Love following your journey.

Also: if it’s too exhausting to do a week, consider doing a random “Day in My Life” vlog or “Days in My Life.” ❤

Hey Brelynn! I just want to say that I really appreciate your vlogs because they’re so raw and real. I feel like not ever pre-med or med school vlogger/blogger shows how real and rough things are/can get. It’s just not easy 😢 haha

I mean I’m in medical school rn, and girl... the struggle is too real sometimes haha. But to answer your question: yeah there were some classes I felt like I didn’t have to attend/watch live. I felt like I could get everything I needed from the lecture slides, tutoring, and past students’ notes

However, there were/are some classes that I feel like I need to attend/watch live AND do like extra stuff for (because the material is just so dense, etc). I think the biggest thing is being “flexible” and be open to adjusting your learning style. Because I know how I studied for genetics was not the same as how I studied for gross anatomy. I hope that made sense? Lol

Anyways, best of luck with everything girly!!!

I started following you in 2018, my senior of high school. Filling out college applications and trying to get a sneak peek into college. More specifically from a black girl and I found you! I now have two degrees A.S in Business Administration and B.S. in Accounting from an HBCU. Nothing to do with the medical field 😂 I actually do not like science but I love your energy and have enjoyed watching your journey! ❤

Hi Brelynn, love your videos. I'm a first year pharmacy student and it definitely ok to miss some classes based on how the professor teach the materials. It best to use outside resources to learn the material so I feel it not beneficial of my time to sit in class and listen when I not going to retain the information. I sometimes do feel guilty about missing class but i have to do what best for me to pass these classes. Continue to push through and you will find what is best for you💜

When my pharmacy school went online it was weird but not going to class actually worked out better for alot of students. Like 1-2x per week I would not go to class to catch up on other things. It saved time to not go to class which may sound crazy.

Go to the classes where you feel like attending is valuable. Others either solely do outside resources orrr have lecture play in the background while you do other stuff. You could do anki or even workout with it in the background.

I’m in my last term of college. I’ve been saying that I am burnt out for at least two months now every chance I get. You are the second person I’ve heard say that they’re feeling frazzled and “not burnt out because that’s too extreme.” This has given me some perspective. I think I should stop saying that I’m burnt out (even though that’s exactly how I’m feeling, lol).
I hope next week is better for you!
