Fox is the tv executive he’s talking abour
ОтветитьOnly way falcons release Kirk is if he makes it untenable otherwise it makes no sense to cut him right now they paying a rookie they can afford to pay him as the backup
Ответить“Tell the eagles it was us”
ОтветитьIf I am the Falcons I would keep Kirk Cousins as a back up. There is no financial gain of cutting him. If Kirk doesn't want to be a back up then he will just have to waive his no trade clause and be traded to a place were he can start.
ОтветитьWhy isn't this fraud of a player not compared more often to Albert Haynesworth?
ОтветитьThis is SOOO overblown again by Rich.
There's absolutely nothing the Falcons "HAVE TO DO" Kirk signed a contract that was essentially guaranteed. Its all on Kirk because he either wants to play bad enough where he has to waive his "no trade clause" or live in Atlanta as Penix's back up this is less on the Falcons than it is on Kirk.
It was always going to be a 2yr deal anyway just how the money spread out... so once again the great "gotcha" people unaware to the situation have is misunderstood.
Its not a Falcons issue, its a Kirk issue... just how bad do you want to play?
How is nobody fired in Atlanta for the lack of a plan or exit strategy?
ОтветитьTush push is stupid. An offensive player should never be allowed to assist a ball carrier by pushing him directly. Ban it, it's dumb. See if your o line can work and give it to an RB or regular qb sneak
ОтветитьI remember quite well how you trashed the Falcons for drafting Penix. You were wrong!!!
ОтветитьIf I’m the Falcons I would just hold my cards and wait. Cutting him is what he wants and the other teams want. But once you get past that roster bonus the pressure flips over to Cousins. It would be on him to find a team willing to trade for him. If he doesn’t want to be a backup he better get cracking on finding a deal for the Falcons.
The Falcons should look at the salary being paid to their QB room as a whole not worry about how much the backup is making. They would be somewhere in the middle of the league by that measure.
I could see the Colts giving him a shot
ОтветитьPull the end-a-round by banning the tush-push...heh, did he plan to say it that way?
ОтветитьCousins should hold out for an in season signing.
ОтветитьMy Raiders love overpaying washed up QBs lately, bring him in!
ОтветитьTrade Kurt for Stafford.
ОтветитьI was shocked he was on the roster week 1 of last year....
ОтветитьAs a browns fan, i can certainly tell you that they are dumb enough to take him
ОтветитьGuess what Rich you were talking crap about them picking Penix. But look who's no longer in the quarterback market. The Jets wish they were not lucky. The quarterback market this drive sucks balls. There are only 2. Not 7 of last year
ОтветитьKirk to LA Raiders 🏈🏈
ОтветитьRich is talking about everything but his pathetic Jets.
ОтветитьI bet the Jets and the Browns would both throw big money at Cousins to come be mediocre for them for the final 2 years of his career. I'd add the Raiders, but at least the Raiders have Tom Brady in there to balance out Mark Davis' lack of football IQ.
ОтветитьFalcons never should’ve signed Kirk in the first place.
Ответить😢Falcon Fan : head coach and gm HIGH SCHOOL level 😂
ОтветитьYeah if Kirk wants to leave he can waive his no trade clause. If they cut him , you save no money and have to invest in another back up. Easy decision to keep.
ОтветитьThey made their bed, let em lie in it.
ОтветитьEveryone acting like Pennix played much better 😂
ОтветитьThe Falcons took a shot. It didn’t work. It will be interesting to see if Coach and GM survive.
ОтветитьThis clown has conned the system his whole career.
ОтветитьRun Rich Run!!
ОтветитьFalcons GM is a buffoon
ОтветитьThe Penix pick was brilliant, and it always was. The whole point was that they hoped for the best with Cousins, but there was no guarantee, and if they waited, they’d have zero chance at a good QB prospect.
Penix would be 1.1 if he came out this year.
Hope atlanta keeps kirko. The jets would love to waste time on him too
ОтветитьI think Cousins will mentor Pennix...
ОтветитьRich protects sources and methods
ОтветитьCan’t stand this team
ОтветитьHe wouldn’t be happily standing there… He really wants to play so we will see if greed is more important

ОтветитьWhatever Rich is smoking or drinking, slash both, he can keep it.
ОтветитьThe Falcons carry the ‘weight’ regardless. Duh. Gone over repeatedly by astute Falcon fans. You keep him. Saving the bonus, is not saving the bonus because if you release you have to pay a good back up anyway. He’s paid. Who cares what he wants? Force him to prove he’s healthy, then trade him post June 1. Any other decision is stupid. Which is what we’ve come to expect from the Falcons, so who knows?
ОтветитьAfter kirk and russ, no team should be overpaying qbs over 34 anymore. That's probably why Stafford stayed in LA
ОтветитьSunk cost for Atlanta. And a foolish choice for whoever takes him, even if Atlanta is paying his bill for a year.
Ответить
