ОтветитьIts never too old to rock and roll, I am 67 and do 60 to 80 press ups per day, when I first started in my 30s I could only do about 6 lol. I thought when I got Arthritis it was over for me but its not true after research I found you can exorcise, do weight training the lot at ANY age. Keep rockin guys dont give up, keep active.

Squats caused me tearings in my meniscus of both knees - both passed surgeries (the first knee at age of 57 after a lot of pains, which occureed immediately after squats, the other knee surgery before 3 weeks at age 59).

All are good exercises for the young an old.Your bridge technique is incorrect.
As you move up start with butt and finish with mid spine,as you go down start with the mid spine or highest point push your spine toward the floor with your core and gradually lower your vertebrae one by one so the last thing to touch the floor would be the butt. And Pilates
This is called stacking vertebrae.

Squats should be done, as is if one is sitting into a chair. So the legs are being used not the gluts. Elbows should be at a 45° Angel to the body.
ОтветитьI don't usually comment but have to say that I was lucky to be energetic from the start... lots of skiing and outdoor sports, then later lots of lap swimming, and when gyms and nautilus were invented, i included that. I just wish my friends did the same as me . they are , in every single case, gone now and i miss them. I feel like 50 or so and still lap swim and workout at the gym and yes I use the stairmaster and every other machine over several days because the sessions get to long otherwise, and i don't want to push it. Actually guys, 50 is pretty young. I had some of the best times after 40 on thru 80 and beyond . Do not let up! And by the way this video is great and I will try more planking etc.
