Hawaiian Sovereignty Discussed by Keli'i Akina and Leon Siu

On October 10, 2014, the acting Council of Regency has decreed, by Proclamation, provisional laws for the Kingdom that are subject to ratification by the Legislative Assembly, in order to provide the proper legal foundation for the United States administration of Hawaiian Kingdom laws in compliance with the international law of occupation (Article 43, 1907 Hague Convention IV). Since 1898, when the Hawaiian Kingdom was occupied during the Spanish-American War, the United States has violated international law by not administering the laws of the occupied State. This violation has consequently placed the Hawaiian Kingdom today into a state of emergency and a fragile state of economic reuination because currently all laws that are being followed in these islands are not laws at all because they emanate from unlawful legislatures since July 6, 1887, which was the beginning of the insuregency that led to the unlawful landing of U.S. troops on January 16, 1893, and other self-declared legislatures since, to include the provisional government (1893-1894), Republic of Hawai`i (1894-1900), the Territory of Hawai`i (1900-1959) and the State of Hawai`i (1959-present).

I’m a little disappointed in Kelii Akina’s attempt to control the interview. He purposely interrupts Leon during key points of Leon’s recount of the USA’s attempt to force the Hawaiian Kingdom into annexation. Shame on you Kelii!

Hawaiian Activist are opposed to Christianity? Hawaiian’s embrace Christianity. Anyone with any sense will oppose hypocrisy, just as The Lord taught and did himself. Some Hawaiians want to practice the religion of their ancestry and heritage. They have every right to do so. Other Hawaiians and non Hawaiians don’t want to claim a church where hypocrites are judging them and telling them how to be Christians. It’s really that simple.

Just visited a couple islands and all the locals made it real clear tourists, "mainlanders," and some other names I can't recall aren't welcome. From the bumper stickers to the billboards to the loudspeakers on the beaches chanting, "we aren't American," and "F#@K the white man," infront of everyone's children it was a pretty clear how they felt. Naturally I wanted to learn why they felt that way but for fear of my life I didn't dare speak to a local and ask them to educate me. The protest agitator on the loud speaker seemed very knowledgeable but given she was encouraging the crowd of locals to become violent against the tourists enjoying a beautiful day on the beach as a means of returning Hawaii's sovereignty, I felt it wouldn't a good time to learn either. This is how I have come across this video and videos like it. Thank you for the enlightenment! I will use this in conjunction with how we were treated by the locals during our trip to educate my children, friends, and family on how America stole Hawaii and why we should not trespass by visiting the islands. I find it imperative to return Hawaii's sovereignty and in accordance with the locals wishes my family and I will never again return to Hawaii. I will further assist Hawaiians by passing along this history lesson to all my friends and family in an effort to help them respect the people of Hawaii by no longer imposing on their home and land.
