ОтветитьSpeedo is in KPH and no tac signal. I'm so confused. 😄
ОтветитьA vtec turbo
ОтветитьI'm in my 70's. You start driving into the sun and all I could see was the light. I thought my time was up and I had to walk to the light. I wanted to shoot you the bird but because I have arthritis in my hands all I'm capable of doing is the claw. Yes I've gone to the doctor about my arthritis and he was telling me it was early rigor mortis.
ОтветитьBrian look into the Blouch upgrade kit for the turbo. The turbo is somewhat setup like a twin scroll kind of it's actually similar so some diesel turbos as well. They are interesting setups
ОтветитьThis channel is setup nicely, but need to change the name to K swap civic academy.
Nobody outside the k swap guys gain much if anything from this channel. Unfortunate
I use to work with Doug at bell honda. One of the best honda techs I ever met. He fixed my 87 crx A/C when I couldn't figure it out lol....
ОтветитьNot to sure you can call the car $1,000 any more, lol
ОтветитьWould you sell the old intercooler from this project?
ОтветитьGood job. She's getting there.
ОтветитьVX rear undertray. Spoon style carbon fiber spoiler, splitter, and maybe a smaller fuel tank ?
ОтветитьAre yall going to test and do a video on the refreshed v6 from honda ??
ОтветитьI’m sure it will do better than a four piston motor..
Ответитьcant wait to see this hatch in person
ОтветитьHell yeah!
ОтветитьAny engine reccomendations for a jdm 99 accord sir wagon?
ОтветитьHi vtec academy folks. I just want to let you know the fan that is provided with the csf radiator and shroud is OK for daily driving. However I would recommend upgrading to one with a higher cfm rating. It's a slim fan designed for short clearance but it's the lowest cfm version of the low profile fans. I did pay around 100 dollars and upgraded to another spal fan that was a medium profile, just a little thicker, but had I believe about a 300 cfm increase.
ОтветитьI love seeing what you guys have done with this project! The K23 has always been the red-headed stepchild of the K family, due to its incompatibility with any other transmission. But by swapping the head on to another K block, you've bypassed that hurdle, and opened up a world of possibilities.
I picked up an '08 RDX for a daily driver about 18 months ago. Kept it mostly stock until recently, where I have begun installing parts to allow me to max out the factory turbo's performance...custom front mount intercooler, downpipe, exhaust, larger injectors, Hondata, upgraded throttle body, etc. All of which makes the RDX a blast to drive, when paired with a proper wheel/tire setup, and the SH-AWD. Next year I plan on sending the factory turbo out for a rebuild/upgrade, so i can push the system to its limit, as well as address the suspension so the car is better suited to the curvy roads.
Knowing how fun the RDX is, I can only imagine how awesome the motor feels in a chassis 1500lbs lighter. The factory turbo system is very compact too, and with its twin scroll design, the low end spool is fantastic. This video series has definitely given me idea for future projects....with the K23 parts I have laying around, and their low price, this definitely is a great option for those looking to go boost on a budget, and gain the reliability of a factory setup.
I'd love to see someone take a similar motor build, and pair it with an AWD K series drivetrain, and see what it could do.
