A Master Mode Trial of the Sword Speedrun Explained

This has given me some ideas for my normal run - I've never made it past the middle trials in normal mode, and now I know some new strats to try re:mechanics just so I can complete it properly.

I’m not gonna lie, I don’t really like breath of the wild, however, trial of the sword was easily my favorite part of the game

Oh my I need to play this game again. I beat it all on master mode EXCEPT the trial of the sword. In fact I could never get past room 10 of beginning and I stopped after I got stunlocked in the water by the wizzrobe

is there a way to play this game on mouse and keyboard? i guess the swtich doesnt offer much mod controllers

Floor 10 might be impossible on master mode without sneakstrikes

Floor 10 is actual hell, in both modes. When I first attempted the Master Trials in normal mode, it took me 10+ attempts to clear it, I don't even want to imagine what floor 10 Master Mode would be like for a casual like me

It's crazy to see the levels being sprinted through. I recently replayed BotW and tackled the trials with only around 15 hearts. I was nowhere near this fast but I only died in the middle trials due to sneaking with a bomb barrel near a static torch. I really don't know if they were always so easy but it was a blast.

Anyone find it concerning that it takes more time to finish the trial of the sword than the literal game. (34ish minutes compared to 22ish minutes)😭😭

Bro, I don't think anyone playtested Mastermode period. I've been playing it for quite awhile and it's awful.

Floor 10 of beginning trials on master mode had me crying lmao, took me 9 tries to beat it and then I ended up beating the middle trials and final trials on the first try 😅

Floor 10 is absolutely awful. I wanted to 100% the game in master mode so badly but I genuinely could not get past it. I must have done at least 20 runs and died every time

One reason why totk isnt as good as botw is because it adds to much to the combat system, I prefer games like hollow knight because theres not to much stuff in combat and makes you use all the things in combat because theres all necessary, botw adds to much and you dont tend to use those mechanics much

I don't know if it's an official category but in a few of my master mode runs I would complete the trials of the sword only using the bare minimum hearts/stamina needed to get the master sword, it makes it so fun, challenging, and even more frustrating but I find it really fun

Floor 10 is just broken

It's always a good omen when the narrator is clearly not used to talking into a mic and is just talking normally. It sometimes means the video creator is passionate for the subject itself first and foremost

Floor 10 alone is harder than the middle and ending trials combined

This run seems really hard, since there's so much combat and such a large variety of it, with limited resources and lots of chaos.

Can u speed run the DLC in botw like all chlothing trail of the sword and champion ballad and if there is anything more. I think it whould be a cool and fun speedrun😊

Never played it. 😅 I literally just flip through the wall. 🤷🏾‍♀️

Floor 10 made me rethink my life choices. Then I tried sneak striking them but couldn't chain it and ended up just burning them with a torch taking for ever but rather safe really.
The other trials were all rather straightforward in comparison.

Dude thank god for this video, I’ve never been good at video games at all and I could never get past room 10 in beginning trials. I skipped the trial of the sword so I could 100% on master mode but it felt a little disingenuous, now I can finally complete it.
