Ответитьthats a pond
ОтветитьThey install them so the water the house displaces has a place to go. The water table in FL is that low. It also aids in flooding prevention and in many cases might be man made but it ties into the underwater cave system of FL. If you don’t want mosquitoes add a fountain.
ОтветитьHonestly I'm more afraid of the maquis then I would with alligators.
ОтветитьHaha. But not true. My central Florida community has a ton of man made lakes and alligators are seen often ! 🐊
ОтветитьWhen I was growing up in the 70s, we didn't see lots of gators, and the ones we seen were almost always less than 5' long. Today we have over a million gators, and we see them up around 7' - 10', and bigger. It's great to see them making such a strong comeback.
ОтветитьThere has never been any alligator problem in Florida, or anywhere else. There's definitely human problem.
