Nice build! i am going to build a 180 sized miniquad, but what size wire should i use for the power lead? i am using 20 amp escs with 1306 motors.

Why dont you use the signal gound?

another great video:) here is a question:) I put together kiss fc 24a esc no pcb (4s, cobra2204 hq5/4/3). One of the esc stoped working during the first take off. now blue led won't light up and esc gets hot when pluged in. it is hot in the area where telemetry and signal is soldered. i haven't used signal ground cause i have power ground. wiring seems to be ok. any thoughts would be very helpful :) Thanks :)

Andy, can you program the OSD via MWOSD? Or does it have to be the kiss files? I'm not fussed about things like ESC info. I want my usual Naze overlay.

Never saw that per-ESC current/temp on an OSD before. I love the data so much I'd be crashing into everything. I thought the 24A ESCs might be a tad under-spec but they never got maxed out. Wonder why the RF ran hotter. (Crash!) See? Anyway nice build.

Thanks for the video. I have pretty much the same setup and was going to make the build over the Christmas holidays. Does the KISS FC send the telemetry back to the taranis so you can setup alerts for low voltage etc? Shame the OSD doesn't display RSSI though I guess you can have the radio read that out too.

Hi Andy. Do I have to do anything to enable smartport telemetry on the KISS FC? I think I've connected it up correctly like you have in the video but the Taranis is not discovering any new sensors. Thanks for the video by the way - great help.

Are the KISS ESC's worth the price? They're twice as much as other ESC's. What's the real benefit?
