Adding Signatures To The Vintage Altered Little Golden Books - LGB Junk Journal Process Video

The two binding templates I used are actually 8" L x 1" W and 8" L x 1 2/16 W. I've noticed that most LGB books I've used have spines between 1" to 1"1/4 inches and these two template sizes were perfect to use. Did you cut off the edges of the book pages to fit? Does that cut off any of the words in the story?

You might look into getting some wax to use with that metallic thread. I’ve purchased it in the sewing notions department in the past. You could also pull it across a beeswax or plain white candle. Beautiful books!❤

ms lilly, thank you for that word of encouragement( hope i said that word for what i meant.. lol) , regarding that where to place the clips, and i guess what you mean is the more I do it the better it gets because I will know exactly where to put my pins while im sewing in my signatures, because at the moment mine is all wonky and crooked.. lol *amateurs*, its a night mare and to top that off I poked my finger with that needle.. ( i guess i wanted to be a part of my journal) haha,, thank you , you always make my day with your soothing voice and a smiling voice!

I need to just learn to make a good template for what I make at that time and just know how! I just cant master that quite yet and that why when Im in that last step where you go back in that middle signature I dont always end up poking in that same middle hole.. LOL
