I honestly like them!
I am looking in getting the bluestreak of that line.
Note: it's still available on the us Amazon for a good price, sadly prowl is nowhere to be found apart of the wierd listing wich looks like prototype images on the dutch and german Amazon pages(also bluestreak on both €90(yup))...
Also buzzworthy silverstreak is extremely cheap on the us Amazon(if shipping is good enough, otherwise the dutch version is a bit cheaper(costs more on it's own but shipping is for me cheaper))

We need a proper release of Earthrise Prowl

All but barricade the purple windows on the windows pop aswell the rest of the colours unlike the earthrise version that’s dull colour wise and the odd paint on the hood sucks it scratches or chips way to easily

Barricade remains the sole exception of this imo. The translucent purple is fantastic with the black. Granted I wish the arms, abs and thighs were a different shade of that weird light purple and more silver or gunmetal but still.

I'm loving the Sparkless version, especially after I panel lined it with a copper sharpie.
Gave it more Cosmic Rust look and snazzed up the guns to Rust Blasters.

I'm still waiting for that living 86 Prowl.

or at least this prowl wouldve been replaced if any more than five people actually owned the earthrise one

i may be devils advocate, since I never went for a "closest to Sunbow" G1 collection I like having my Siege Prowl next to my ER Smokescreen to have them be similar in build yet distinct alt modes and kibble

Yeah, I have to agree, the only one I got out of this mould is Bluestreak, and I just completely forgot about him.

it is sad, since the thing it does with the lower part of the torso is really good.
a big part of the problem is the colorschemes. smokescreen is good, barricade is real good, if a bit samey, and the sparkless has other stuff going on for him, but prowl is just underwhelming. it needed more, more than just the writing on the doors

I really like them. Siege Barricade looks pretty cool. I wish I had one.

I am perfectly good with the Siege Datsuns. And if I hadn't gotten SS86 Ironhide, I would've been perfectly fine with Siege Ironhide. And let's be real, whether G1, Classics/Henkei, Combiner Wars+TFSS (the subscription service was the only way to get a CW Bluestreak, AND he was in Diaclone colors), Siege, Earthrise, or Masterpiece, Prowl is quite serviceable but looks like complete ASS compared to Bluestreak & Smokescreen. The only exception is the repaint of Transformers Prime Beast Hunters Smokescreen; now THAT looks mad nice...but I think that particular set of retooled bits was more intended for TFP Barricade, who STILL looks better than Prowl. (And there wasn't a TFP Bluestreak)

Which reminds me: Barricade, when applied as a repaint of Prowl, is gonna be an exponentially superior look. Just ask G2 Sideswipe, who unequivocally looks better than the regular G1 Sideswipe.

Objection. I love Siege Prowl. He’s still my definitive prowl in my g1 collection

At the time, I wanted a new Prowl, and I was looking at Siege Prowl, but I skipped out on it, since the deco was so goddamn bland.

It's a shame they didn't go stronger with the cybertronian aesthetic for seige.

I have the barricade version and I love it

I will say, Smokescreen looks pretty good.

If people talk about this mold these days, it’s pretty much only in terms of getting Barricade and then stopping. I’m in the same boat, although I did formerly own Smokescreen. Sold him off some time after getting Earthrise

The Siege mode works only with Barricade

I don't own any of the Siege Datsuns, and only own LGY Silverstreak from the ER mold, but imo, the Siege Datsuns are perfectly fine. Not perfect, mind you. But just fine; ok; decent. ER is definitely better.

I have definitely not forgotten my Siege Datsuns, I have a small shelf dedicated to just them.

This mold is in a weird spot because as a toy it’s basically the same experience as the earth version, but visually it’s different enough to warrant being replaced.

It’s not like the sideswipe(which was so similar there wasn’t really a reason to get the second one if you had the first) or Optimus(which was a completely different toy and owning both was warranted as they’re completely different experiences). It’s in a very awkward middle ground

I think the main reason is because the legs are loose. My Barricade has only one loose leg luckily.

Idk, the SIEGE mold is a little bit less fiddly

Cybertron made transparent tires look better

There are toyhax sets for all of the siege cyberpunk Datsuns and they look pretty damn good but any words and/or numbers on them are in English not cybertronian

I’m still waiting for Bluestreak to have his moment. Bro’s been forgotten for too long.
