Great video and truck tour, Marty!
ОтветитьThanks for sharing such a beautiful HDT -Kevin 💙💙💙🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸
ОтветитьWhat size is the sleeper, 156 or 180?
ОтветитьHey that was a cool Volvo, and his trailer was massive ....I love seeing things this big , as you know Karen nothing as big as this set up could move in England, we will never see such things here , just too big to cope with our little country 🤣 shout out to Marty for the tour 👊 impressive set up .
ОтветитьTrucks like that are used for expedited high value loads mostly husband and wife teams. You see them hauling jet engines just can’t hauled a lot of weight. It meets needs for his work. I sure they mainly west of the Mississippi .
Ответитьnice rig
ОтветитьDon't show this to Dave because he would try to do one better with your HDT, CanAms, Fifth wheel RV, and Smart Car. You will be in construction mode the rest not your life!!
ОтветитьThat is a beautiful truck!
ОтветитьDouble the luxury with the hdt and full house! Love it
Ответитьthanks for making videos of the HDTs, is there a forum on HDTs you'd recommend for coach builders, HDTs for sale, etc?
ОтветитьThat is an awesome truck!! Thanks for the tour!
ОтветитьHi guy's...very nice truck....beautiful...good interview...thanks for the video...stay safe...J&A
ОтветитьI have a friend locally that built his own Condo and had his frame stretched out similar to this. He hauls Jet skis and Motorcycles on lifts on the deck. Along with that he carries a hot tub an a second floor bar also on his rear deck. He goes to alot of the HD rallies I asked to get pictures of Dave at his bar on the truck ! Hopefully yall get to meet him and see his truck .
ОтветитьI can see Dave drooling already. LOL
ОтветитьOMG what a great looking and functional rig. Wish it was mine. I would name my rig "Freight Train". Thanks for sharing. Stay safe.
ОтветитьNice video awesome rig.
ОтветитьHello Dave and Karen another great Video
ОтветитьThat’s a beautiful tractor. When the container is on the back of tractor, it is no longer a private RV cause he’s using it commercially to make money. How does he get away with registering the tractor as, I assume, an RV when using it commercially? Does he cover up the Private RV sign on the sides of the tractor and go across the highway scales? I’ve never seen anyone doing double duty with a big rig. As a truck driver for 40 years, I have an inquiring mind. I hope you can answer this, I’d really like to know how he does that. When used commercially, he needs the IFTA sticker and permits. Thanks.
ОтветитьNot sure how he can do commercial work and still claim it as a rv not for hire. Sounds illegal to me. (Former OTR drivers)
ОтветитьI read Marty’s explanation and he’s using his tractor, registered as an RV, commercially to avoid paying all the State taxes for trucks, like the fuel and highway taxes for the States he drives through. Marty, you are an owner/operator when that container with your tools in it is on the back of your tractor. You are a lawsuit waiting to happen if you’re ever involved in an accident, with the container attached, and the other party gets an attorney. That defense attorney will know the law regarding your situation and does your insurance company know this RV is also used as a business? When that container is on the back, you should have a commercial drivers license, a medical card and a logbook. Marty, you are not an RV when servicing those hydrogen facilities.
ОтветитьLoved the truck
ОтветитьGreat review of that which most of us only dream of!!
ОтветитьHi whatcha up to hope all is well sending up prayers 4 healing and unspoken and 4 everyone and bless great healthy peaceful safe journeys travels and happy camping and happy day everyday in name of the Creator God and Yeshua /Jesus and the Holy Ghost Amen much honor and respect keep walking tall always yall also cool cool apartment on whls in the video this truck could be rv by it's self truly like this apartment on whls and they could use the bed 4 toter/ hauling ur everyday car and or pick up wow it's nice ride cool
🚌🌅🌌⛺🌄🏞🏖
👍👍💪🙂👍👍
That Volvo isn't afraid of a loose tire. Look at the grill! Put an incinerating toilet in that bad ass. A cassette toilet is way too silly for that monster.
ОтветитьI would like to see that truck hooked up to the trailer
ОтветитьAnd I would love to see a video of it, going down the highway
Ответитьthis guy knows how to retire
Ответить👍👍👍😀
ОтветитьBeautiful truck and setup!!!!!
ОтветитьI am new to watching your adventures and I love them. I would love my husband and I to travel like you two do. I would love to see the inside of your home. What video could you I see that?
ОтветитьSo, he uses this tractor for commercial use, that means he should have a DOT number on the truck, commercial plate, CDL A license etc...I wonder if he has all that?
ОтветитьWhat an awesome setup!!! WOW!!
ОтветитьHow is the West Coast Rally in Indiana which isn't anywhere near the West Coast? That's a head scratcher!
ОтветитьPutting private rv, not for hire, is actually a red flag. You shouldn't do that. Also, he just admitted to violation of fmcsa regulations. Hope he actually has dot, ifta, irp for servicing weather c stations.
ОтветитьI totally understand in this gentlemans case the need for the "condo" or living quarters. What I don't totally understand is the folks towing exclusively an RV what is the need for the investment in the "condo"? I mean the 3500 dually they used to tow with most likely did not have living quarters in it? Seems odd to me .... ? 😊
ОтветитьVery impressive. Perfect for someone that travels for work and needs to bring their tools with them.
ОтветитьAwesome video, I have a 2025 Western Star. Do I have to do any modifications to it to be able to tow a fifth wheel travel trailer?
ОтветитьColby Knolls
ОтветитьI love these Volvos.
ОтветитьThis is my second time watching this video, I really like this
ОтветитьVolvo hdt's truck's to dubai
