I frequent the location this man was murdered at and I work in device repair. I cannot believe the unfathomable odds that I would find out now that Jessa did data recovery on his phone after deciding recently to study microsoldering. I remember being around when the police taped off the area after the shooting.

Not to sound like an ass.... but the question of how a person could behave in manner x?.... leads me to say that about 2000 years ago there was a man with a concept so radical that it changed the world... that concept was compassion for your fellow man... we have been apex predators for a lot longer than we have been civilized, we forget that and take the post scarcity utopia we currently live in as the norm that has never existed before in human history

I live in Olathe, KS. I lived through this. Listened to police scanner as police were searching for the individual who did this crime. Police really screwed up. They had his house surrounded for hours. Turns out he had left the state already as they were waiting for swat to storm his house, where they claimed he was in. He was caught in Missouri hours later when he stopped at a restaurant and somebody called the police on him there. He was very close to getting away!

I support and appreciate everything you and others like Louis Rossman do since corporate asshats like Apple treat you with so much disrespect. You worked some insane magic being able to save the data from that gruesome board. and you deserve to have your messages spread to the rest of the world.

They dont care unless its really really worth it. greed isnt just in apple sadly. Shocking honestly though as usually murder porn stories are fucking huge for MSM ESPECIALLY if its a hate crime, honestly shocked ive never heard of this one in particular as i live in oklahoma and my family is all in kansas.

Thank you to your children for dropping your phone in the toilet, If that did not happen you would not have gone down this path and do such an amazing thing to recover these photos. In a world of hate, its wonderful to see amazing people like you who put as much work as you do to help people who were told nothing could be done.

People need to start buying androids. My dad's friend owes a repair business for iPhones and androids. He recently got sued and was forced to close down for 'reselling the iPhone as there own branded phone'. He did none of this nothing even close. All he has been doing is repairing them and hopes he can continue to do so.

Wow... So this is blood in this iPhone made me think to myself "This is straight-up symbolism of hatred and intolerance... human blood is in an iPhone, and that blood has destroyed this iPhone and came from a bullet of a gun from a psycho killer".
However, hatred is only the tip of the iceberg, and frankly intolerance is actually extremely common unfortunately in our society today and is seemingly not ever going to escape, and when we (we as in "you" and "me" as a community and as a common folk) watch the news (such as Fox because I'm legit a Republican -- and I kid you not, as I was grown in Kansas City, but born in La Jolla in 1996), we see really bad people with really bad intentions, who not only aim to divide, but also to distract and spell fear into our lives. This Olathe, KS shooting is very haunting, even though I personally actually never ever heard of this terrible news beforehand. The people who do these are borderline crimes are appalling and so out of area and are either being punished deeply for their deplorable and miserable actions or are already shot dead as suicide. Serious stuff. There's some really crazy people and some psychos who roam this world out there; definitely watch your back.

EDIT: Sorry I responded from this video from 2-3 years ago, I couldn't help but think this was just a tragedy and very unfortunate way to end somebody's own life like this (reminds me on the infamous 2016 FBI vs Apple-encryption case).

Jessa, this video is such an inspiration and motivation! now I believe it is possible for an autodidact newbie hobbyist like me to change broken power supply in my CO2 laser (been procrastinated for days now).

As it seems, the video is cut off at 45min as it was posted as a Premiere. All Premiere videos cut off at 45min even if they are longer than that.
The fix seen in the comments is to download the video or to watch it in IE... not really a fix for me but better than nothing.
