I just realized my Q has the OBDII port on the left, closer to the parking brake. Yours is on the right, closer to the accelerator.

9 speed is very good transmission, came out of the Benz amg cars.

now you get a q60 and your as good looking as the z and luxurious as the 50 👍🏻I have a q60 but definitely would like a 6speed z

VG30DETT has a forged crank, and cast iron block you bore. VR30 needs a stroker kit to replace the crank to make over 500hp, and a sleeved aluminum block. The major difference is the VR engine has to be completely rebuilt to make over 500hp. VG30DETT can make 700hp with stock block. VR30 probably can't make over 500hp without cracking the crank. The 350Z crank cracks around 510hp and 370Z cracks around 530hp. So I am guessing the 3.0 might not be able to make a reliable 500hp. The 2023 Subaru Impreza 2.0 is 2900 pounds with a manual AWD and it is cheaper to turbo and rebuild the engine than this new Z. Subaru can make 600hp easy with a rebuilt engine. The new Z is 3700 pounds or 800 more than a Impreza. The Infinti Q60 is 3800 pounds or a thousand pounds more than a Impreza, and they're both AWD. The 2023 Impreza is the car to modify. It has hand brake, key, AWD, manual.

Q50 is a transmission and minor chassis update away and it can be a very competitive car again.

Does the Z have the adaptive cruise control/lane keep/traffic jam features?

It looks like the Z comes with a front strut bar for handling. Can the same strut bar be installed on the Q50? If not, I think there are aftermarket strut bars available for the Q50, like the G37 had.

If they would’ve at least put jatco’s 9 speed in the 2024 Q50 I would’ve went with another one.

I know it’s an old model but I recently had my engine replaced and on the receipt it says I have the c and D model turbos. Does that mean by any chance I have the same turbos as the ones the Z has. ? I have an awd q50 redsport if that will make it easier to answer. If this a dumb question I’ll take that criticism too 😂

My q50rs paddle shifters are on the steering wheel not the steering column. Is it different in the q60?

You're comparing a 7 year old Q50? The updates (front and rear facelifts/apple play) make the Q a better car all around. The Z has smaller stock turbos so if you mod, the Q is the better choice.

Is the 7AT that much worse then the 9s like everyone is saying in this comment section? I find it to be a pretty decent tranny in “sports mode” especially up shifting and downshifting?

Q50 unstable at high speeds? I went 180+ smoooooothly!
