you didn't do anything wrong with the paint...some colors just don't play well with each other, looking good nonetheless

FYI- You can copy the Black base floor color. The contrast between black and snow white looks pretty, pretty pretty, cool!
Be careful tho! Once you screw up, it's hard to correct. Have to paint a new color over it to fix. Update should be here soon.
Also, build a 10 foot or so high vehicle pad suspended over the ground. Then, when you come back to base from exploring or
loading in a save, if your vehicle falls through the ground, it will be safely on the ground (below raised vehicle pad) instead of 1000 feet below you....somewhere.......maybe.

It seems that every second block reacts slightly differently to the blocks around it. what your trying to do with the color in the cornings of your Z may work "1" block over. It may not, not sure, but every second row / column does react slightly differently when it comes to the fine stuff and how it snaps to stuff around it. I noticed the same thing when I was embossing some stuff on the flat.
