I bought a prussik cord not realizing I could just friction hitch on the climbing rope
ОтветитьTry it with your full body weight on it. Im sure its going to give you massive forearms. If you do it regularly! Lol
ОтветитьYou’re not showing it good enough
Ответитьit’s 2024, no one’s climbing on a blake’s hitch anymore, get with the times.
ОтветитьI don’t know about using stopper knots to the carabiner to hold you
Ответитьim going to try this tmr morning
ОтветитьGenius rope tying that needs no metal gear to secure it.
ОтветитьNice!!! Great combo of knots and definitely something to practice and keep in the toolbox...... aka dusty corner of my mind 😅
ОтветитьAll those years of running a taut-line hitch and never knew there was an easier way.
ОтветитьThanks for sharing 💪
Ответитьlove that know knot november is recommending these
Ответитьi love videos about knots.
But they drive me nuts.
Because i have no idea how to keep the knots in my head.
When i have learned one knot, i know how it works.
But then i try to learn another knot and somehow it overwrites the first knot.
Somehow i get into trouble trying to remember the first knot again.
Ok, sure, i can remember 3 or maybe 4 knots.
But there is like howmany? Thousands of different knots.
How to actually keep em all in your mind and how to know when to use which knot?
That video is one i would watch, even if it is 10 hours long.
This is very nice to know. You never know when you'll need this.
ОтветитьWould you just undo that extra bit to descend?
ОтветитьNever never ever or invers always tie you up directly to the loop of your harnes. Goddamned !
ОтветитьAll those variations from the prussik knot are great to know, no hardware required.
ОтветитьIngenious!
ОтветитьWhy is it not common practice to use a figure 8 to tie into your harness?
ОтветитьI like to tie another Blake's on the working end instead of a sheet bend. It's easier to adjust the hitch on the fly to set your desired tension.
ОтветитьThat's awesome!
ОтветитьThis video it's for climbers that they don't want to spend money for new climbing equipment, 😂
ОтветитьI use the blakes hitch when I climb
ОтветитьI am ready teacher 🥷
ОтветитьIm new to climbing and this works but how do i not spin whin i ascend
ОтветитьWhat the hell, I was shown that but was never shown the up line part, for years I pulled the tail and slid the knot up
ОтветитьI magine doing that high up ....😅
ОтветитьI can hear my old Forman now. “ANY $5 HACK CAN HOOK UP A TREE!!!! GET TO HUMPIN BOY!!!!! He didn’t like hooks or ascenders. You used a Blake’s hitch and didn’t bitch!
Ответитьbro, i just buy the gear....
ОтветитьWhen I was younger I got into rock climbing but I never could get time to travel. I now live in the woods and never thought you could do it with out spikes. Just need to get a harness without letting my wife know. I’m going to practice tying knots.
ОтветитьA mind not gone to waste
Ответитьur hands are always in the way... terrible tutorial..
ОтветитьIt doesn’t have to go behind the climbing line before going through the first 2 loops?
ОтветитьBad demonstration
ОтветитьThat brings me back, I was taught to climb on the Blake's Hitch. Back before the split tail.
Wish I'd known about this self-tending trick back then!
Thank you Bino. You’re the best.
ОтветитьI always tied another blakes hitch above my first one ( opposite side), but yours is easier. Gonna try
ОтветитьA smart technology!
ОтветитьIt works but I think a micro pulley runs a lot better and doesn't drag or catch. I climb on a hitch climber now. I used to want a zigzag but after I got a chance to play with one, I decided that I'll be sticking with a hitch based system. Glad I didn't spend 400 bucks on one
ОтветитьNo enseñas nada tapas mucho los nudos...
ОтветитьKeep it up Bino. Ive been watching you since 2020. ive learned alot from you thats made me a better climber
ОтветитьAwesome stuff man I needed this technique 👌 thank you
ОтветитьI love this because i dont use Gadgets i tie all my knots
ОтветитьCool
ОтветитьMore stupid jump cuts and visual obstructions please.
ОтветитьTuring single rope into double rope
ОтветитьAMAZING! THANK YOU
ОтветитьThank you bino
ОтветитьThank you so much this is what I’m looking for Oml your amazing
Ответитьthis video has too many cuts and they don't align. It makes it very confusing to do exactly as shown. Anyone can do an approximation but why show such weird video ?
ОтветитьAmazing 👏 👏 👏
