i was shocked to see 3000 people playing it so i fired it up after not playing it for a year, got 100 kills in the first match
commander is fun what can i say

I wish the player count would stay consistent.

its still a great game to play and is pretty solid on aiming and movement

It's old, but still the best hardcore shooter. The RO/RS franchise was quality and had a lot of fans, it's a shame that this is the last installment. Tripwire's founding project was RO1.

if you know how to work the lmgs they can be anything you want, make sure to run the extended belt instead of boxes, you rarely live long enough to reload so just have it all available at once

RS2 is such an incredible game. Found it last year and was absolutely addicted to this game for months while I worked nights. I’d get off shift tired as hell and still play 3-4 hrs.

We need RS3!!!! I know the real OGs remember red orchestra the best but I just think we have ENOUGH WW2 games.

Vietnam was a crazy ass war with a great soundtrack. It deserves a new title.

My hats still go off to the devs of RS2. After a year of owning it, I still find things that just knock my socks off. The craziest part? This game is friggin old!

I've been playing RO/RS series since day one, and so far Vietnam is the most fun and meme worthy game I've ever played.

Remember running a mosin squad in a trenchline on defense, held the line against M16s and M60s until napalm cooked the whole point

Yeah, good game, but thanks to some stinkhead existence, it's already become the worst memory I ever had on that game, even if it's good, I will forget that shithole as possible as I want it.

No new FPS shooter games will provide me the experience of being Commander and calling arty/napalm on friendly teammates and getting yelled at on Voice chat for being a moron. Only in RSV2

i played that game just 588 hours, Mostly beacuse there are alot of custom maps and silly modded servers, Lets take the rice fields!

The launch was a disaster. In beta the game was really good and the hit reg was spot on. Then they released it with horrible hit reg and kept denying the issue for 2 years until it was finally fixed.

i loved the green army man dlc when it first came out, but then they changed the weapon damage values in it and it lost alot of its cartoony charm

they were working on the game 83' but that stopped development years ago and was only recently picked up by another studio, but who knows if it will ever come about

I switched to Squad because the voice chat in Rising Storm 2 was broken. I hope it's fixed because it's hard playing the commander role when nobody can hear you in the command chat

The fast movement speed and arcade gunplay make this unplayable for me after finding squad and squad 44

We need bots in it with the capability of maneuvering around every map so that way when the player base is completely dead, we can still play.
