You should've gotten a crank and bottom bracket tool removal to open up the bottombracket and check if there was dirt inside the left side of the cartiage bearing piece. Since it's not a sealed system, it is prone to getting abit of dirt, Since it just uses roller bearings on the sides. Ether that or it might've come loose and the cranks were off-centered so the bearings weren't contacting on the spindle correctly.

Might look into that next time. I'd make sure to double check what is the prob.


Also i'd make sure to double check where you are riding, how you are riding, and so forth. Cause if you are trying to ride a Comfort/Cruiser/Road bike on off-road terrain, you'll destroy the bike because it's not designed for such ability.

If your riding on rough unevened roads and off-road mainly. Or all around everything. I'd sit on a mountain bike. This'll give overall platform of ride style and strength. But won't give you speed. But it'll be made to withstand the abuse you can throw at it. City/Comfort is more for abit faster road riding, in a cruiser kind of fit.

hey there, what happens when you are on mode 3 and you don't pedal enough for the cadence? would that ruin the motor of the bike? or would it kick you back into mode 2?

also could you explain what you mean by the pedal cranks? where is that exactly? (if you want to chime in too)

Why did you buy a girl's bike ? Yes, I'm an old guy and that's what they were/are called . Just curious - I'm guessing because it's a step through - easier to get on & off ?


Also, do you know if the battery is removable ? I have an older Currie electric which lets you carry a spare (heavy!) pack to double the miles. Would be great to carry an extra battery on your bike - had a chance to look at the battery pack ? Thanks

Im up in Canada and the hyper is really the only budget ebike choice here. Im really considering the 700c like you had. I think its a winner in terms of cost/features/looks.

Sorry to hear that about your bike, I bike spokes kept getting loose and broke but like you said there customer support is a+, I was going to return it but I love how spacious this bike is, so I had a custom rim made to hold my weight.

Thinking about getting this because the throttle bikes are so expensive. Is it really easy to pedal and also how fast do you go

why did you buy a womans bike?

Hyper E-Ride and the MTB look the same, what is the difference, our Walmart only sells the MTB this year but I bought the Hyper E-ride of them last year which is no longer sold at my local Walmart.

I literally progressed from a child' l electric scooter $85 to adult manual scooter $45 to adult ekectric Yippy $150 to Small ebike peddle free called Hoverway Sprinter $300 , MID-SIZE ebike called Jetson Bolt Pro with peddle assist $285. Then finally the Hyper E ride which is like my Mercedes compared to all the aforementioned. I went through some of these transitions in just a week. A Big John Wayne Grandpa told his wife & extended family I'm the Man of Many Bikes. Coming from a stranger in such a large City that was a little disconcerting. Purchased assembled from merchant in neighboring State. I had to take off front tire to fit in my hatchback. Ironically I got the most compliments about the midsized ebike. The small got a lot of comments, but more it's adorable or funny. Hyper gets little to no comments because it blends as a regular mountain bike. A young lady only realizes what it is when I pass her without peddling & she laughs saying I have a cheat code.

just got my bike brand-new goes about 12 miles

I have the same bike. But, I replaced the front chainring with a chainring set I pulled off of a donor bike. The chainring that is on this one is around 34T, (I forget), and I upgraded to a 48T front sprocket. What that did for me was, now it feels much easier to pedal without feeling I'm tiring myself out. So, if you feel like you pedal incessantly when it's not needed just to keep the motor running, consider jumping up to a higher tooth sprocket in the front.
