I'm with you on the camera rings. I'm not a fan compared to the 5. They look cheap on the 6 imo. And those rings look like those old plastic poker chips that had the ridges on the edges. Lol

Nice to see a sound test. I wouldn't use ATMOS in most content. Having both devices, I much prefer Fold 5 for wired music, and, frankly, the Fold 6 sounds veiled. Fold 6 speakers should have been louder. That's a miss. Wonder if an update can fix that? It's tough because Fold 6 has improved in so many other ways. Enjoy your take. Most everyone blows off the audio segment. Well done.

I dont know yet of i Want Iphone 16 pro max or S25 ultra. I have s22 ultra exonus. I uppgrade every 3 year. But I Want to know my battery capacity Health and only Iphone can show IT. I live in Norway and you live in USA, but iphone has the dynamic Island i dont like IT because I play call of dutty mobile and watch movies on my job

I upgraded from z fold 4 to z fold 6 and there is a massive difference between the 2. The z fold 6 is noticeably thinner and lighter. So happy did my upgrade as like this video states it's a night and day difference. Definitely best foldable so far from samsung 😊

I upgraded from 5 to the 6 and fully agree. I truly intended on returning the 6 but after a day, there is enough change that i dont want to send it back. The esthetics are nearly perfect now. Its making me want to rock the phone without a case.

Okay, so a few hacks on the audio. In settings, sound quality and effects, toggle on ATMOS, set EQ to balanced, boost dialogue (biggest difference). Then, if you want a little more of the mid or high frequencies, toggle on Adapt Sound for your age group. You can also try volume normalization, but it's a lesser effect. Of course, this just makes the speaker louder. It really doesn't improve the sound quality, but it's helpful if the lower speaker volume on Fold 6 frustrates you. This review is probably the most intuitive and useful to asses the practical differences between Folds 5 and 6. Most every reviewer reads a spec sheet or simply pantomimes other influencers. This is practical and clever work. Thx!

I upgraded from the ZF4 and I am def pleased with the upgrade! You really do have to go hold it in your hand at the store to see the difference because it's not in the specs, it's real world Polish. I hope they keep this level of quality when they do the big upgrades to larger screen sizes, bigger cameras, s pen and battery inclusion.

I have a Z-Fold 4, and the screen got damaged recently. I went to get a repair for it, but it costs $600, so I decided to get an upgrade instead

I've been concerned that I would get less video content when it's open because of the change in aspect ratio, but as you showed here, it's either exactly the same or better! So thank you so much for that extra bit of assurance, as like a lot of the comments say, none of the reviewers have been pointing out what it's like in comparison to previous generations. So thank you so much for this video showcasing it!

At the beginning, I noticed that the crease on the fold 6 was very minimal compared to the fold 5. Big difference!!!

Great comparison. My wife has an S22U and I have a Fold5/6. Spot on. The refinement of the Fold6 is really important because it helps make it feel very different than the 5. Love that blue btw. It was my 2md choice, went with the white instead.

The 6 is better in every way except battery life, my fold 5 is surprisingly better in battery.

Awesome video, my friend. Watching these types of videos makes me miss the fold line up. I had the fold 4 and everything was good up until a yr a use it wouldn't open fully, n it freaked me out. I didn't have the warranty anymore, so fixing it was going to be around $400. I just did the upgrade to the s24 ultra when it launched, n I'm loving, but now I have the itch to go back to the fold 😅 anyhow. Thanks for the great content.

Exact review i was looking for..i wanted to see the media consumption usage on the fold 6. All other reviews concentrated on specs and nice hair and flashy studio setups more than the review..hands down the best video on fold 6..

i changed from Apple to the z fold 6 and it's amazing.

Great video. I was struggling to justify the upgrade from 5 to 6. But after a day or two of transferring my data, I noticed the cover aspect ratio was an improvement over 5. But I can't seem to get over some of the color differences. Do the colors (wallpapers)on 5 feel like they pop more 6? I did a side by side using the same picture on both devices and saw some color difference.
