Israel has no desire for expanding. It literally suggests at the end of every war to give up the land they have conquered in exchange for peace... turkey and Iran are the ones who we need to keep an eye on
ОтветитьMiddle-east try not to create a ridiculous war challenge (impossible)
ОтветитьArab nationalism didn't came out of Hanafi'ism. The most & early Arab nationalists were Arab Christians. They were the ones who promoted a secular Pan-Arab identity which gave rise to the Ba'athism (Arab Socialism) which was at odds with the Muslim Brotherhood. Throughout the 20th century, two ideologies dominated Egypt's political landscape: Pan-Arabism (Ba'ath) & Pan-Islamism (Muslim Brotherhood).
Today, the fight in the Middle East is not about the Madhab (Hana'fi, Ma'liki, Sha'afi, Hanbali & Jafa'ri). Both Qatar & Saudi Arabia follow Hanbali madhab but they are odds with each other. UAE follows three madhabs (Hana'fi, Ma'liki & Hanbali) depending on the Emirates but it's an ally of Saudi Arabia.
Shia Islam isn't Persian, in origin and many prominent Sunni scholars were Persians.
ОтветитьAll the world's religions are bullshit and Islam is the most dangerous of all.
ОтветитьThis is the stupidest and most biased thing I have ever heard in my life.
ОтветитьUnbiased, well structured, all facts. You sir, can have my like and gained a new subscriber. Great work!
ОтветитьPerfect timing
ОтветитьThe clip contains a number of errors. First, there is no enmity between the Sunni schools of jurisprudence, but rather a difference in understanding the legal evidence and the way to contemplate it. As for the pagans, most of the people of Egypt are Shafi’is and Malikis, not Hanafis. Fourth, the writer seems to be influenced by the propaganda of the Egyptian regime.
ОтветитьI feel like Greece, Cyprus, and Sudan should've been added to this map cos they have a LOT in common with their Middle Eastern neighbours and were historically part of this cultural region.
ОтветитьThe idea that people in the region oppose Israel because they are Jewish is a big lie, they would've been opposed no matter what religion they have, they took a land that belongs to other people and they are still oppressing them to this day
ОтветитьOman has been doing business with the Israelis for more than 45 years; and is a close economic ally with them. Every single Israeli PM has visited Oman both for business and pleasure. Back to your point, why is it so quiet there? Well, Oman isn't really an "Arab" state, the people there have Portuguese heritage (same for the UAE); where thousands of Portuguese sailors (men) established ports and "mixed" with the local population; as in they produced children with the local women. 6 generations later, you have today's Oman and UAE; the offsprings of wild relationships and beach parties.
ОтветитьWe were so close to peace, too. Saudis were so close to joining the Abraham Accords not too long ago.
ОтветитьOf course the Jews are the indigenous peoples of the land. Those from Judah, the Jews. There attachment to the lands go back millennia
ОтветитьIslam vs islam, vs jews vs christians..we have 4 way battle😂
ОтветитьIslam functions as both a religion and a political movement. It transcends national borders, instead emphasizing a religious unity often led by a caliphate. At the height of Islamic power, all conquered territories were considered Islamic lands, or lands for Muslims. Both Israel and Spain fall under this historical perspective, but Israel is seen as an immediate concern due to Jerusalem being Islam’s third holiest site. This is reflected in the phrase “Not an inch, not 10 inches.”
After World War I, Arabs aspired to form a single Islamic nation, but this idea was rejected by the global community as it was deemed too risky. Consequently, the region was divided into 22 countries. Palestinians, who are Arabs, seek to establish what would be the 23rd Arab country. According to the Hamas charters, their goal is to create an Islamic state in Palestine. Thus, the Palestinian cause is often viewed as a means to reclaim lost Islamic land. How many more Arabs need to die for this ideology?
Political analysis is good, but bro, honestly, do not speak on matters you clearly have barely a surface level understanding of. Love your videos about North America and the like. This... is clearly way beyond your expertise. When it comes to religious matters youve discussed almost everything you said is profoundly incorrect. Please, as an actual fan from the reigon you're trying to analyse here, I say this with respect: Don't. So much of misunderstandings that you attempt to address here are created by the exact thing you're doing: Surface level orientalist understanding of the middle east. Talk about politics. Leave theology aside, its clearly not your game.
ОтветитьDont forget that Islam promotes hatred and subjugation of Jews (and really any non muslim). This is a massive core issue of the "big one" that you ended on
ОтветитьSo a lot of good stuff but a few things are off…
1.)Israel has not grown it size it shrunk by 50% since its founding and the wars from 48 and 79.
2.) Israel did not displace Arabs in the area, in fact a mass migration happened during the 70s and 80s. Arabs are not native to Israel…
3.) you did not touch upon khandistan, the caliphate that isis-k is working hard to bring about that would encompass Iran to Iraq and most of southern Mesopotamia
The geopolitics of Israel on this video are terrible. Portrayed as expansionist when every territory they have taken has been a platform of terror and attacks against Israel. Only a madman would give those territories back to be attacked from again.
Ответитьin reply to your thumbnail, y'know, for a guy living in the middle east, i wouldn't exactly call it a 'rivalry'.....
it's sliiiiiightly more than that...by juuuuust a smidge...
Another bullshit video about israel 🇮🇱 just had to wait to end to listen to the lies.
ОтветитьMr. Z can you create an alternate timeline if the worlds history was reversed like Age of Discovery ( Natives of the Americas and Africa discover Europe), Age of Colonization( Native Empires colonize European tribes), Revolutionary War( United Kingdom of America v United States of Albion( Britain)), Civil War( Northern Confederacy v Southern Union), WWI( Entente Powers( USAlbion, France, Russia) v Central Alliance(Germany,Austro-Hungarian,United Eyalets of the Ottaman)) , WWII( Axis( UKAmerica, USAlbion,France, Russia) v Allies(Germany, Italy, Akitsushima/Japan)) , Cold War( SATO aka South Atlantic Treaty Organization)v Kapitern( Russian Capitalist Bloc)), War on Terror( Christian fundamentalists v United Emirates of Arabia)) and a possible WWIII( SATO v Allies of Good( Russia, Iran, China, and North Korea) + ISTO( Individual Security Treaty Organization))
ОтветитьThe muslim world has this weird fixation with jews. Their hatred for them is holding them back. It's a crazy obsession. Once they get over that and shed some of their medieval beliefs, they'll prosper.
ОтветитьGreat content
ОтветитьWhat people in the west fail to understand about the middle east is that there's a massive disconnect between the populace and the government especially in Foreign policy, recent polls show that a whopping 93% of people in the middle east have a negative view of the U.S and Israel, the Abraham accords and other so called 'peace plans' are very shallow in thier nature, 70% of Emiratis were oppesed to Normalisation with Israel, in other countries its even higher. With all the differences of the people in the middle east, one unifying factor is the opposition to American imperialism which manifest itself in the existence of the Zionist state and its continuous expansion and colonisation of Arab lands
ОтветитьThe athari creed was the first and ashaari creed comes after so the majority of scholars consider ashari and other groups to be innovation and the schools of jurisprudence are just a school of thoughts not in creed like me am a salafi and i flow malaiki jurisprudence and i also listen to hanbali scholars sometimes
ОтветитьFinally a guy talking about the difference gropes in sunni Islam, most Muslim I meet (arab and non arab) know nothing about this topic. but mostly live in country run by ashari scholars but get affected by the saudi-gulf back media.
Ответитьreligion: the main cause of war since the dawn of time, and will be till the end of time.
ОтветитьMuslims being violent and petty? No?!?! How could this be? /s
ОтветитьThe reason the "middle east" is the way that it is, is due to european meddling....just like every other conflict going on and festering....its that simple...
ОтветитьNot now 😮
ОтветитьPeople in the west say we are racist nations, shieeet they don't know people from the middle east, I've known Syrians that wouldn't look the other way if a Turkish person got merked Infront of them and vice versa.
ОтветитьThis video is a shame to Lebanese sunnis and Christians
ОтветитьEgypt is in Africa bozo
ОтветитьGreat video and I especially like how you made the important distinction that Salafism and Wahhabism aren’t actually distinct sects or groups just political nomenclature I do however want to clear up some point of misrepresentation in your otherwise great explanation.
1- Schools of jurisprudence are simply different ways of interpreting scripture and evidence in how we extrapolate laws, and yes I mean extrapolate because of the evidence is clear cut then all schools agree, the difference between them is how they interpret unclear evidence. For example all of them agree that you must pay alms years equating to around 2.5% of your wealth, they do not agree however on if the alms must be given in the form of which wealth is held or if it can be given in cash. As you can see the difference between them is purely legal and not at all ideological. There is not animosity or ill will between the four schools of thought and usually on any given issue they agree with each other or disagree. It should also be noted that despite what you have described in the video these schools of thought are not centralized and do not, and have not, affected politics at all. It can not be said that because the majority of Saudi scholars are Hannbali that Saudi Arabia itself it attempting to form a Hannbali empire, that is simply not how schools of thought are viewed as. It is better to view them as scholarly differences that have no barring on the Sunni population at large.
2- it is very wrong to assume that secular Arab nationalism is a byproduct of Hanafism that is simply not even remotely true, in fact I would say that those two ideas are mutually exclusive.
3- Different Sunni creeds such as Ashari and Athari being the majority are independent from Jurisprudence schools and a person can have either faith and any of the jurisprudence schools, the difference faiths come from the different understanding the ideology of Islam especially as it relates to the very nature of god. It is also worth noting that these different creed are not matters of public discourse today and are usually left to scholarly circles.
4- Shia Islam ideology is far too incompatible with Sunni Islam ( fundamental Islam) to be considered a creed of Sunni Islam this is something you explained but worth mentioning after I explained different creeds.
5- while on paper the differences are ideological and that is true you should also note the political differences especially as it relates to the Iranian revolution and the life of the man behind the revolution Khomaini, in short he was a man exiled from Iran then later from Iraq and refused entry into Kuwait. He spend years in France as a pauper and then suddenly comes back and becomes a country leader?? It is very obvious to most people that the Khomaini revolution was backed by the west and likely the Mossad in order to destabilize the region and force the oil rich gulf countries to rely on US protection against Iran. (Read about Saddams Hussain relationship with Donald Rumsfeld). It would be very irresponsible to paint this problems in the Middle East as just because people don’t like each other and not as a result of constant meddling from western governments post WW 1 to this very day.
THIS IS WHY THE FALL OF THE OTTOMAN EMPIRE LEFT EVERYTHING COMPLETELY FUCKED
ОтветитьCasually summarizes all I have learned past 6 months in a 20 min video
ОтветитьYou claim that ksa has cooperation with Israel
I challenge you to name one example.
Armianian allies iran because azerbajan is allied with turkey
Ответитьyeah, you got it wrong as guy from middle east, but it has depth though.
ОтветитьTurkey is not in middle east.
Ответитьits crazy how right you were about Syria
Ответить
