I grew up in a private school for k-6 and most school things were easy for me but with undiagnosed adhd and high functioning autism most other things were a lot harder. I haven’t started year one of college yet, but for high school I think the only reason I made it through without the whole ‘gifted kid syndrome’ was because I became good friends with some REALY smart people and their competitive nature gave me something to work for, and while that didn’t stop me from a lot of my bad habits, it is definitely the reason a little more effort was put in when it mattered

As someone with a couple hundred hours in both osu! and league, this was an extremely interesting and enjoyable watch. The section at the start about avoiding complacency truly resonated with me, and I thank you for this enlightenment, for lack of a better term. Regarding connections between different fields, and building future learning off of previous experiences and knowledge, I completely agree that this is the best way to learn, and in my opinion for STEM subjects in particular this is basically how high-level learning occurs. I never expected to find such philosophical musings on an osu! channel, but I'm looking forward to more in the future (:
