Wow that’s amazing and clever 👏👏
ОтветитьThanks for this video tutorial. I have 08 750li (E66). The DSC keeps coming on in low speeds out of the parking lot of backing up. Im gonna try this on all four wheels. It is the most annoying thing for this BMW. Appreciate the good video lesson
ОтветитьLooks like he used a Copper Crush washer that's sandwiched between a Brake Caliper and Brake Hose Line. Looks like a brilliant temporary fix.
ОтветитьAny suggestion of auto start stop light flashing while driving and car doesnt drive properly
ОтветитьWhat if this happens at +50-60mph on straight roads with full acceleration from low revs... high revs is fine
ОтветитьHi, I have a 2011 BMW 740LI, my car has been down powering on me while driving, along with a saying DSC malfunction engine chassis stabilization reduced. Once I turn the car off and back on the malfunction goes away and I can drive again for a couple days until it does it again. After taking it in to BMW having them do a diagnostics check they’re saying I need a new DME which costs about $2500.
Is this something I should do with my car first before I spend thousands of dollars on a new DME, please let me know what you think. Thank you very much
I have an issue with my 2016 F21 116d Sport. It doesn't happen all the time, but every 7/10 drives on average it will malfunction completely and the DSC is permanently disabled, meaning I also can't use cruise control or eco/sport/sport+ modes, unless I pull over, turn ignition off and start engine again and hope it doesnt happen.
I find it happens if you slip the clutch a lot coming up out of an incline from a standstill. It also will just happen randomly cruising on the motorway and boom "DSC malfunction" into "cruise control failure" and I have to drive myself then.
I might give this a go and hopefully it fixes the problem.
Thank you Regis
ОтветитьHow do I know which wheel to attack?
ОтветитьIs this fix for DSC or ABS?
My DSC 4x4 light is on , not the ABS.
You need to check how the sensor is and replace it if is damage!
That's the stupid way to fix a problem and duck tape is not the solution!
Brilliant, done it today took both sensors out and cleaned them and the ring added washer it’s working perfect now
ОтветитьThank you sir, your tip is good.
ОтветитьAnyone know what long term scatter mean for abs fault code?
ОтветитьMy BMW 1 Series 120d M is currently experiencing an issue with the DSC warning light illuminated on the dashboard. I have taken it to a BMW service center for diagnosis, and they have recommended replacing the DSC control unit due to its age. However, the cost of a new DSC control unit exceeds the value of the car. Despite the warning light being on, the car is currently driving fine. I am wondering if there are any friendly garages in the UK (near Newcastle upon Tyne) that could fix the DSC issue by following this inspiring video?
ОтветитьI'm having this issue. traction controll warning light along with parking brake. are they related? Also do I need to check all 4 to find the problem? I don't have a fancy odb reader
ОтветитьThis made my ABS warning light turn on.
Anyone know how to change that?
Mines did that and the car didnt start back up
ОтветитьSo will fixing axel fix thing ring problem
ОтветитьNew Wheel speed sensors will fix that too
ОтветитьThe whole idea of ABS SRS and Check Engine Light is just another way car manufacturers and mechanics make more money the older cars didn’t have all that technology and they lasted a lot longer than theses newer generation vehicles I mean do we really need to have electric seats and all wheel drive and plastic headlights🤔
Ответитьthank you so much for this info! now i can finally fix my Bmw Z3s abs light/ brake light problem on the dash board! :D
ОтветитьTurn the steering wheel all the way to the left, then all the way to the right.... Problem solved! And if you have a petrol e53, get an LPG GAS CONVERSION, my BMW X5 E53 4.8IS runs absolutely fine on gas!
ОтветитьMy DTC light is on, but no ABS or loss or power. Only thought, and garage said was linked to steering calibration sensor.
ОтветитьMy fix for this was to just turn the DSC off.
ОтветитьNow traction control not working..did you try with push to pedal?
ОтветитьO8 550i drives fine til traction control error and amber brake error...suddens jerks when acceleration..jumps into neutral
ОтветитьSo the question is how do I know witch wheel to take off I just picked up a 328xi for 2900$ and this is the problem it has I believe it’s going to be a fast and easy fix now watching this lol 😂 somebody let me know it’s a 2008 328xi all wheel drive is off right now it’s just rear wheel drive
Ответитьwasher on the bolt is a better option as the spacer will let dirty and damp in
ОтветитьI was quoted £900 for a new drive shaft at the BMW main dealer during a recall inspection. So I placed a washer between all four sensors and the problem went away for about a £ and a year on it’s still good.
ОтветитьUseful video, thanks for sharing.
Ответитьisit one wheel only or do we do all 4? i have this exact issue right now lol
ОтветитьWhat side is the sensor on back driverside or passenger side
ОтветитьThanks
ОтветитьTThanks 😊
ОтветитьHow does a steel ring swell up? Your bearings are probably worn causing the fault.
ОтветитьThanks for your help! Superb! I Lo lost power completely and was very scary with my kid in the car. I turned off the traction control and the car got me home.
ОтветитьTried this but still having same problem
ОтветитьMan thank you ever so much for this video. I have done exactly as you have instructed and it work's perfectly. Much appreciated!!
ОтветитьAre you the bald guy from tik tok
Ответитьشكرا على المعلومة
ОтветитьI did this and it came back , what do I do ?
ОтветитьHow to check which tyre
ОтветитьWhat size socket to remove the bolt ?
ОтветитьHey. That’s not the same wheel that you took off.
Ответитьon all 4 sensors or ? my car send me 3problems on rain code 236,code 24 and code 50
ОтветитьGreat fix
ОтветитьAll this cost me was the cost of a cheap garage-jack that I needed anyway. Could have been thousands!
Thank you! this is a lifesaver!
As has been commented earlier though; make sure to use super-thin washers. A little to fat, and the abs and traction systems go offline and the dash lights up like a Christmas tree!
Brilliant video, man! Very helpful! Thanks again!
