I definitely feel like custard does better as a scoop than a shake tbh

Freddy's shakes are more based on the quantity of milk used to thin it out while the concrete doesn't add more milk, I would have recommended to try a create your own such as classic vanilla and cookie dough since that is my personal favorite for a general good frozen treat.

Freddys has a lot more options than the menu lets on. The build your own options let you go crazy, despite them only having two custard flavors. They even have mint syrup and cold brew to make mint and coffee concretes

You should try Freddy’s cheese curds there really good

The frozen custard was an absolute let down when I first tried it. They have signs around the restaurant that say "you'll never settle for regular ice cream again." But then I try it and it tastes good and the texture is fine but it barely feels different from regular ice cream. Definitely not better than Braum's.
