Watermelon Man is excellent. Godfrey Cambridge is spectacular in it. Real shame he died so young.

I read reviews of Orchids when it was first announced and they were scathing to say the best.

I picked up "scum" and " vampires" cant wait tonpick up more indicator releases

Managed to scourge up enough cashola to finally compete my collection and get the final ones I need ... And saved a decent amount of money by doing so during the sale.... Except Cisco Pike...which was sold out. Fortunately found that one new on eBay for a decent price ... Now I can focus on just the monthly Indicator releases and put some effort into the gaps of my Masters of Cinema collection.... In terms of what did I get in the sale ... There were a fair few but all the ones you mentioned here in this vid were part of the final ones I needed. Not sure how long they will take to arrive to Australia but good to hear your thoughts about how good all 6 of them were. Amongst some of the others were The Pillow Book, Winter Kills, Track 29, The Third Secret and Bellman & True..

I saw watermelon man a couple weeks ago on the criterion channel. Liked it a lot. Would be a great double bill with Sweet Seeetback for sure. Same director, same independent filmmaking dangerous 70s feel, same social consciousness.

I'm a huge fan of MOSCOW ON THE HUDSON, it's definitely one of Robin Williams best performances--naturalistic, devoid of hamminess, totally believable. Paul Mazursky is a great filmmaker with a very interesting oeuvre. CISCO PIKE and WATERMELON MAN are titles I've ordered and can't wait to watch. Godfrey Cambridge was always a welcome presence in a movie--I missed out on picking up COTTON COMES TO HARLEM here in the States--hoping it eventually gets a Region B release. Indicator, maybe? The seventies have a plethora of compelling films that are underrated--I recommend STRAIGHT TIME, SCARECROW and THE PANIC IN NEEDLE PARK as just a few of the lesser known 70's era gritty dramas. Kino Lorber here in the States put out WHO? and it always looked cheesy to me, but now you've got me intrigued. Elliot Gould is an interesting actor--Robert Altman's THE LONG GOODBYE and LITTLE MURDERS are solid films in which he shines.

I'm still waiting on a few of my orders to be shipped, i saw on the Bluray forum, the issue with duplicate orders all my other orders had at least one OOP so fingers crossed they eventually arrive

I might pick it up because it’s a limited edition and i heard it’s one of Roger Corman better directed films + Jason Robards is one of my favorite performers.

I was trying to pick some titles during the sale but when I went to check out with the 10 titles I chose... the shipping was was outrageous.
I just emptied my cart and laughed to myself.😂

You guys are lucky to have Indicator and 88 Films. Would really love a domestic brand here in the US.

It is amazing how much more fun and rewarding it can often be in engaging with movies that have been largely forgotten rather than sticking to the canon of classics. Cisco Pike is an example (not available in the US), loaded with all kinds of interesting signposts of its time including the making of the slow drawling mournful stare of Kris Kristofferson into a movie star.

All great pickups but glad to hear some more love for Moscow on the Hudson, a film that seems like it shouldn’t work but was enjoyable from start to finish. Indicator rarely let us down 👍

Indicator is a fine label, but i am selective in what i pick up from them, & i"m still waiting for my Indicator titles to arrive from the sale, "Force 10 from Navarone" "Roadgames" & "Badge 373" nice stack there !!!
