great video! How would you recommend hanging panels on the ceiling? Would same braces work?
ОтветитьThanks, Timmy! Yes, I ised the same technique putting them on the ceiling as on the walls. Just make sure your holes are pre-drilled and you have a buddy to help hold it because it is not easy to hold the panel up and drill at the same time. (Believe me, I tried...) -Jordan
Ответитьgreat job! thank you!
ОтветитьThink this will help to hang a few of these around my pool? The concrete and hardscaping amplifies the sound from the pool and I'm in a neighborhood where houses are close together. I could hang them temporarily perhaps? I do not know much about acoustic travel, etc. Trying to just reduce the sound as much as I can without spending a fortune..
ОтветитьVery Good Info and Video.. Thank you Jordan!
Ответитьcan you please guide us on how to make diffusion panels . are they really necessary for home
theatre
You skipped over an important part of the tutorial. How did you get the panel on the wall without showing how they actually connect to the panel for a secure hanging mount?
Ответитьfor which frequencies these panels are working ?
Ответитьis there a way to do this without leaving any marks in the wall im living in a rental space and dont want to leave marks
ОтветитьGreat method, but I only want to clarify an acoustic concept: give more distance between the panel and the wall improves the low frequency range.
ОтветитьIsn't this panel too thin? I would take at least 80 mm...
ОтветитьGreat video thanks. You look exactly like one of the Alexandria residents on Walking Dead
ОтветитьI'm so sure that you can make it too guys. Just look for wood prix.
ОтветитьBet it takes you 26 mins to make a cup of tea...
ОтветитьThanks for the video!!!! I Have a question: as I am planning to build my panel I see that the wood for the frame nominal size 1x2 is actually 0.75x1.5. If the rockwool is 2 inches it will be thicker than the wood. Should 1 use the wood 1x3 which actuall size is 0.75x2.5?
What is your opinion about using 2 inch (3 lb/ft3) cotton insulation?
Walking Dead, Blue man group!! and Homeland!!!!! wtf Hunger Games!!! You the man!!! Great Video!!
ОтветитьThe panel just appears on the wall but can you tell us what you did for that step?
ОтветитьMy panels are about 25 pounds, mdf outer frames 3/4 inch thick 4 inches deep. Wooden inner frames for the cover. Rockwool Safe n sound insulation on the inside. Any suggestions for reinforced brackets? I just don’t want the weight to be an issue. I want a 2 inch gap from the wall
ОтветитьThank, it helped me alot
ОтветитьWoodglut has a lot of designs to choose from.
Ответитьmy wall is 8 feet tall, should the panels be in the middle of that?
ОтветитьGreat video. Great info.
ОтветитьThousands of lifetime projects with Woodprix plans.
ОтветитьSkip video when u drill n put that panel at the bracket...its waste my time..i want see it..argh🥺
ОтветитьNice job. Thanks for sharing.
ОтветитьWere you in a comedy?
ОтветитьHi, how do you know how high to hang it? Like how far up from the ground? Thanks!
ОтветитьWhat size screw and anchors are you using?
ОтветитьLoved this, Simple 👌🏾
ОтветитьI need to be able to do this without drilling into wall and damaging it in a apartment. Any suggestions?
ОтветитьFor small rooms, 4" thick wall panels should always be the minimum. Using 2" thick panels and a 2" air gap is more mounting work than it's worth. A 4" flush panel works better than a 2" panel with a 2" air gap. If you only have a 1" or 2" thick wall panel to work with... fine air gap it, otherwise get a 4" wall panel and forget about air gapping.
ОтветитьJordan is so coool!
ОтветитьDoes this help with sound coming from the outside room? I’m trying to quiet noise from my landlords side of the house 😂
ОтветитьHow would I hang heavier panels
ОтветитьThank you, I'm gonna use this.
