All the small parts sealed in bags, where are you gonna find that ? Nowhere most likely.
You can try to get some of the discolored parts in a better quality, get a box, create maybe the best quality total setup you can find, that is going to be EXPENSIVE, though by the time you get all the better colored parts, doors, especially if you replace the shuttle itself for the best you can find, by that time it's not worth it to sell it maybe, you might not make any money off of it, well, not now, maybe in 10 years or more.
But getting the small parts together, at all, let alone still sealed, is basically impossible.
It was kewl video, great interactions, true to real life. and mom was great trying to learn more and ask questions. great story, thanks for sharing the unboxing. loved it all. thank you sir for bringing out a great toy for all to see and to guys at shop for doing a great job.
ОтветитьAcid in cardboard will really do a number on things, although it looks like that box took on some water at some point too. Everything in plastic bags looks like it was saved.
ОтветитьG-Force: Guardians of Space playing on the Tele. My life is complete!
ОтветитьBoy, he’s a talker😂
ОтветитьPlastics just do not turn colors without an outside factor…….from an injection molding guy.
ОтветитьNote to self, never bring ur mother to a toy store
ОтветитьHey that’s my dad behind the counter!
ОтветитьThat mom is the only one with any brains 😅
ОтветитьI remember all the fun I had with mine! I even recall unpacking it Christmas morning and putting it together and some of the steps. That was half the fun of these old Gi Joe toys. Too bad toys aren’t done at this scale anymore
ОтветитьBy the time somebody opens them small parts, they will be so fragile they will shatter
ОтветитьAwesome!! 😎👍
ОтветитьAs for the price dude I was thinking the same thing three grand easy . Is it just me oh this do just randomly talking. He keep repeating the same thing over and over. But having that defined for 38 years that is very impressive. Be blessed
Ответитьive got a collection ive been contemplating selling. Its very extensive with a lot of very rare pieces. hundreds of original sealed figures from sealed scareglow to 12 back star wars figures. its really hard to make that decision on something you have worked on for so long.
Ответитьi wanted one when i was a kid,but never got one.i was all about gi joe and the kid down the street was all star wars.
ОтветитьMan i wish i keep my toys from the 70's and 80's.
ОтветитьLoved his story and the unboxing was NEXT level!!
ОтветитьPrivately probably close to $4 grand
ОтветитьOr a G.i Joe collector what does the G.I stand for/ abbreviation?
ОтветитьThe Defiant and the uss Flagg take me back to drooling over my 1988 Christmas wish list. GI Joe, Hot Wheels and model cars were a constant through my childhood.
ОтветитьThose people have no concept of common courtesy. Even if I'm only 3 words into my sentence, if you proceed to talk to the SAME person I'm engaged with, and talk over me LOUDLY,.. that's the same as telling me "He bitch, you're nothing to anyone"
ОтветитьThe defiant guy set up a great vid. Nice job man.
ОтветитьI was @ $1500
Ответитьneed a rc version fly it
ОтветитьThose guys don’t stfu do they lmfao
ОтветитьI can only imagine the Dad buying this item for his son, but knowingly bought it for himself and understood the future value of the item but only to pass away before cashing it in.
Son's the winner winner, double chicken dinner.
Love to watch this channel! Can we get 10 more videos a week please?
ОтветитьSo cool to see this channel from a local shop! Love getting in to visit. Criminally under subbed channel!
Ответитьthis is gotta be harder than pricing jewelry
Ответитьwoman just dont get negotiating lol never bring them
ОтветитьDude talks to much !
Ответитьthe guys dad was a A-Hole
ОтветитьI want a rattler in the box, and im having trouble finding one. I miss it. i had one when I was 8.
Ответить270$ to 290$ back in 1987
ОтветитьDefinitely not a shop to bring your boomer mom lol
Ответить“Hey Ryan! I just wanted to say how much I appreciate the way you went out of your way to make the deal fair for the buyer—it really means a lot. Not every seller would do that, and it shows how much integrity and respect you have for your customers. Much respect! Also, Toy Federation looks like an amazing store—so much nostalgia and good vibes. Keep up the great work!”
ОтветитьMint one in original shipping box just sold for 57000
ОтветитьLike the long videos, awesome finds
ОтветитьGeez, so much jabbering... I would pay less to just deal with these dorks.
ОтветитьThis dudes patience is on another level. Most annoying people
Ответитьthe way he was scolding he's mother at the end hahahaha "can you stop talking"
Ответитьseller never would shut up, couldn't watch
ОтветитьThe chatty cathy irony 😂
ОтветитьI love their evaluation conversations. Its a teaching moment for all of the staff. Its just awesome to see the different knowledge come together and have an output that makes sense to everyone in the end.
ОтветитьMan, i used to disassemble the figs and make custom ones with the diff parts, even made new ID cards and swapped weapons/gear... f'ed the value pretty hard though
Ответитьcrazy the dude brought his mom with him...
ОтветитьWell, fuck... I have one completely factory sealed, MIB, that I got for Christmas in 1987. I had two, one I opened. My Uncle was a designer for Hasbro for over 25 years, and worked exclusively on the G.I. Joe line from the 80's.
I should take a trip. I had no idea of the worth. I have many Joe playsets still factory sealed (including the USS Flagg, Terror Drome, Mobile Command Center, etc., that I have kept for over three decades to pass down to a child I never had.
This is truly a great story, though...
Is the box salvageable to sell to a collector?
