Do you use random reference photos or your own taken on your phone?

Is the painting all wet-in-wet or are you letting the layers or the underpainting dry completely between layers? I'm curious on how the paint is mixing as you're applying it (and if that impacts which colors you decide to use.)

Did you put the trees in toward the end? They’re a darker tone, but they do overlap the buildings so I’m thinking you did.
