CHUCKY TV Series Teaser Trailer Reveals Classic CHUCKY Is Back

It's crazy to me that a premise of an innocent looking my buddy \ cabbage patch figurine destroys other toys and murdering families when nobody is looking. Then when someone sees it everyone is acting like, "The heck is wrong with you? it is not alive..." I mean I could write one good movie with that, but they just keep doing them and people watch them.

Yea the design is definitely off. I do not like it. Hopefully they pull a curse of chucky and have it covering up his face slashes.

Why is that kid so goddamn old?? The subpar remake screwed that up too by making that kid way to old to be believably playing with a doll. Maybe he’s buying it for his little brother sister or something. The first few films did it right, Andy was the perfect age in the first film.

The doll could’ve been trying to get the butchers knife and fell over and had to stay still with all the people around.

I’m super excited and I hope we get to see Tiff, Glen ,and Glenda in the show a lot more. I really loved those characters in the movies.

I didn’t mind the last one that came out and I thought the people working on it did their best in respecting the franchise but also doing something new. I really only have the issue with the studio for taking it from the guy who’s been working with it since the very beginning.

I’m glade he is returning with a lot of the original cast.

Forgot where I heard this but I guess the reason a kid his age buys the doll is because he's an artist and is making a sculpture out of vintage doll parts, or something of that nature. That explanation at least lines up with the whole emo thing the kid has going on...sounds like something someone who looks like that would do in their spare time.

If Jennifer Tilly's in it too, what an amazing addition she would be too, heck, even if it's just for a couple of episodes. Not just for nostalgia purposes though, needs to be written in well 😉

Child's Play was one of the first horror movies i saw as a Kid, Looking forward to seeing a TV Series!

If it's actually any good, you can count on syfy to cancel it immediately!

I think the hair is more full and boofy looking, probably coz the original had the more even comb over look while I think this one has a middle part but they're combing it over so the hair that is bending the wrong way is standing up higher than it should be and the face colour/tone is more of a warm look compared to the pale skin of the first one. I'm also wondering if it has a more kind of plastic look, where as the original had a look that was a bit more ventriloquist dummy looking. The overalls line up I think more to Child's Play 2 or 3 where if I remember right, they were darker and had more logos.

I hope someone in New Zealand picks it up to show because I don't think we get SyFy. I think it looks good and I hope it is.

I worked with one of the show runners as a SFX artist a few times. She is a true horror fan and is savvy about directing a good SFX scene.

Unless Sy Fy bullies her or the show edited to death, it is in good hands.

Hey Mr H, hope you’re ok?. The hair is the difference with the doll. The original Chucky had just slightly shorter hair. This is more in line with the recent films, not the reboot

The best chucky doll was in child's play two this will leave off after the cult of chucky and Alex Vincent will be in this as Andy but his hair looks a bit strange

I adore Child's Play and Chucky but I think this wont go more than 1-2 seasons. More sequels not a series

Chucky needs to cross over from horror and into Crime Drama, he is a very interesting character and NEEDS enemies, and more motivations, maybe mobsters who Charles Lee Ray fucked over in the past, Chucky needs to be the anti-hero in one of the seasons

I actually rather enjoyed Cult of Chucky for the most part. It had its issues but it was really fun to see them play with the Voo Doo stuff a bit more.
