I was 15 in 2014. The beginning of high school. I had no friends, I was an outcast, I was bullied. I didn't fit any aesthetic, I was chubby. My mom barely had any money to buy clothes. I had a difficult relationship with the rest of my family. I don't miss these times but I'm glad that all this happened because it shaped me and it helped me to become a better person who can help others who are facing the same difficulties that I had.

Times back then, at least for me, weren't better or easier, but the problems were all so much simpler than they are now.

I was 19 in 2014 and even though it hasn't even been a decade since then, the world felt very different - absolutely not because I am viewing my young adulthood though rose colored glasses. It seems like 2014-2016 were the last years before the doom and gloom of late capitalism has completely crushed any hope my generation had for the future. Looking back I am grateful that at least I got to experience that time as a person of age, cause thanks to that, way more experiences were available to me than to younger people who became adults post 2016 or during the pandemic. Pop music was super fun back then. Still have these songs on my playlists.

I miss my childhood. Although yes I had a strict personal rule against listening to music from artists(because I didn't understand a word in english) and honestly I deeply regret that. I was a stubborn 8 year old who didn't want to listen to any music because Ivwas hyped up on cartoons. I don't know any songs AT ALL and I deeply regret it. And even if I did want to listen to songs...which I didn't at that timme...but still I didn't know how to search the names or spell in english. I had a very good spelling though(in my mother tongue) but english nope...I either looked at TV, went outside to play or play games on my laptop(browser games obv). Still...THE NOSTALGIA HITS HARD!!!!
