2011 games really didn’t seem to like Paris lol

I have to say, the France CBRNE missions got me into reading pathology (as a hobby) on and off for years

I definitely would say that (of course), the game didn't capture just how mentally destroying it would be to see the effects of an aerosol-dispersed biological/chemical mass casualty incident and just how dangerous and debilitating it is to EXIST near said areas, much less fight in them

Take for example, a bioengineered strain of tampered Anthrax, made to take effect in minutes or even hours, scores of bodies piled on top of each other looking like the black plague, people with black rotted flesh growths succumbing

I hope the with the recent COD MWs and their ability to really flesh out stuff and go for a really visceral angle of special and conventional warfare that they do a chemical attack and that they really make it as visceral and fucked up as the games have set as their tone, they've already got ghost guns and modernized insurgent/clandestine agent cells doing acts of terror and espionage to instigate HUGE conflicts, I really wanna see how they can further flesh out the effect that stuff has on metropolitan cities

And yes, I am well aware that MW 2016 was sorta centred around chasing down CBRNE WMDs, but I just really want another Hereford square civvie atrocity but with more visceral animations, voices and a better sense of the scale and how much the line was crossed over

The MW trilogy had to have boosted recruitment rates. I have no naive notions of war or combat, but the story really tugs at my sense of duty all these years later
