I agree with everything other than last since you cant really play blind since there is no map that will guide you in souls games, but i do agree searching just for it to be easy is bad, but just wayching a guide of what and where it go is good.

Guides are not a bad thing. If you are struggling and need help I think its fine to look up what ways can make your character stronger. I also think that guides are sometimes needed. There is just way too many things that you miss in these games. Like there is no way you are finding the artorias of the abyss dlc without looking it up

Googling stuff is fine aslong ss its not the entire game. I usually google how to beat a boss either knowing its hard or acter dying many times. Like ik how malenia is hard and i havent played the game (yet) but ill try a few times anyway.

dont attack the golden armor cavalry in elden ring at limgrave in the beginning.. not putting that thing in this video is literally a crime .-.

not reading messages isn't a mistake, the best thing you can do when playing a spuls for the first time is playing it offline so that you are on your own, but if you want to play online dont read messages or you will get a huge spoiler on enemy placement and secrets

There is nothing bad about searching things after all many people can get lost and don’t know how to get to a certain point and everyone atleast once had to google for how to find something on a soulsborn game.

You search to cheese the boss because you were scared to lose runes

OK, but trusting Patches nets me some pretty useful items; it’s thanks to him that I had so many upgraded grasses in Demon’s Souls.

I don't know why but when i started with elden ring last year i had no problems with leveling but when i started with dark souls i always forgot to level me up for some reason.

Start Dark Souls, dont look up anything online, end up deep in the catacombs, end up resting at Vamos bonfire, gets trapped, "trash game, will never play again"

I did look up a lot online in elden ring because it is just impossible to know what you gotta do for a quest and I still think it´s alright to look up quests but it somehow led to me spoiler myself A LOT of content ( can´t remember how tho most quest guides don´t spoiler much so they´re safe to watch)
