KneesOverToesMum is a weapon
ОтветитьThank you this works. I’m 45 with banged up knees and couldn’t run two blocks after doing one week of the sled. I now can run to the gym and run home. I now do sled every day. Thank you…
ОтветитьAwesome video.
ОтветитьThank you for starting this revolution.
Ответитьis that a 50ft distance for the sled on the astroturf in your gym?
ОтветитьI think Im going to try this at 43 years old, 6'2 and 400 Lbs. I have to do something to get my strength back. Currently I can only walk a short distance before I'm gasping for air with extreme backpain and burned out quads. The sled looks like what would help with the weakness in my legs and back.
ОтветитьI can pull much more than I can push it seems.
Ответитьlittle confused about the reverse squat - when Patrick did it, was knees to elbows, but when his mom did it, it was hanging to parallel? and is it a core exercise or hip flexor exercise?
ОтветитьI love the chemistry your mom has with the gym. All this is dope
ОтветитьWow I had 4 feet surgeries that set me back my active lifestyle and torn meniscus ligaments. I fell into depression because my foot doctor told me I had to limit my walking and no biking either. I gained 80lbs since I became inactive, my mental health declined, anxiety, panic, depression. Watching this thanks to my chiropractor has given me some motivation and some positive outlook that I can rehabilitate and build myself to go hiking again! Literally watching this has made me cry.
ОтветитьHello sir, may I know how many times a week we do this?
Ответитьwhat % of bodyweight is the standard on the hip flexor cable pull?
ОтветитьWhat flooring surface do you use under the sled?
ОтветитьIs that backwards treadmill manual or electric?
ОтветитьI do a range of different exercises as I like variety. Twice a week in the hydro pool I do backward jogging, forward running, sideways, lunges, squats, resistance and strength. Gym twice a week weights, step ups, kettle bells, yoga, Pilates, stick mobility exercises, assisted weight hanging and dips.
Variety is the spice of life, 65 years young.
I've been doing this every other day. Progression really noticable! When doing zero my split squat was on a high step holding stuff for balance, now I'm on my doorstep unassisted. The pullover is stretching out my dominant side where im having back aches bc of my desk job (scrunched up mouse side). Can really feel strength-stretch working. 🙏
ОтветитьI love the sled, but my big toes hurt too badly for me to play tennis for weeks. Any thoughts on how to avoid the toe pain?
ОтветитьIsn't this workout is similar to Bryan Johnson's one?
ОтветитьThank you so much
ОтветитьMama C is just AWESOME ❤ I could watch all day! She and all of you are such an INSPIRATION 💪😎😊

ОтветитьHey Ben, I've had knee surgery and since I was 13, I'm now 45.
I feel rejuvenated looking at this work.
Can i ask if this work helps assicated ITB pain too?
To date over the decades i have had an acl repair, and two athroscopies on the orher knee. I do feel better 3 weeks in wirh walking backwards, and my ITB is less painfill after the pigeon stretches.
Thanks,
How tall are the parallel bars?
ОтветитьOMGG
ОтветитьThank u I was reading on something that was put up that y'all was giving away the slant board for free how can I get one?
ОтветитьWhere to buy this sled?
ОтветитьAs a personal trainer would a pulley system be just as effective if i did not have a sled? Or the sled with wheels.
ОтветитьI appreciate you 🙏 family
ОтветитьSo I programmed sled into my routine and I’m loving it . Just not sure how to progress. I love a heavy sled push. Do I keep the same weight and try to push it faster? Or would I keep the same pace and just add more weight as I progress? Just looking for overall conditioning
ОтветитьWhen I do reverse squats something in my lower back clicks every time. I don’t know if it’s a joint or what.
ОтветитьI need to get back on this. I started running again and my knees are bothering me. All of you are great motivation as I get older!! I am in my 40s. I do not want to make my age an excuse to get after it. 💪🏾💪🏾💪🏾
ОтветитьI'm a 38 y\o male and your mom is an inspiration to me. That is my goal for now and all of my future- to have that mobility and confidence in movement.
ОтветитьWhoa this dude is 45 wtf man I'm 35 thinking I'm getting old man I'm bouta keep the planet fitness but find one of these type of gyms shout out to that guy
ОтветитьHad bilateral knee replacement. Left knee May 2023, right knee April 2024. Bending knee to full rom difficult. Couch stretch seems impossible right now. What do you suggest? I’m considering buying the tread sled. Started doing your exercises and knees feeling better. Still get stiff but less pain. Thx for all u do
ОтветитьWanted to order cushions for doing couch pose. Why is shipping so expensive? I’m in Florida. Love watching yr mom
ОтветитьLots of Yoga stretches.
ОтветитьJust watching how kind you guys are to each other is a therapy too.
ОтветитьWow! She's on her late 60s but he showed doing things like she's late 20s.
ОтветитьMy gym’s sled has ropes that you pull vs around the waste. Does that work?
ОтветитьThank you guys in the last 18 months I've bought a slant board a Tib Bar with a bunch of plates and Ben's 3 books including his one with Derek and dedicated myself to the various exercises including backward walking ,ATG spilit squats and other hip fllexors excercises and the journey outta stiffness and popping achy, knees has been a postive ,enpowering, joyful experience.
ОтветитьWhat to use if I dont have acces to a sled?
ОтветитьDid I miss it, or has it been said how many times a week you have to do this routine?
ОтветитьLove these videos! So grateful! I am 60, was a division 1 scholarship volleyball player in college and have been in a lot of discomfort and pain with greatly reduced mobility for years. Several days ago I found your videos.... Saw the one with Dr. Berg which led me to your channel. I immediately started backward walking and the stretches I can do. It is already helping! Thank you! Thank you! Thank you! So much wisdom and I feel the good will! ❤ Love seeing the different ages and hearing the different goals for training! Gives such hope to all!
ОтветитьMy gym doesn't have a sled or backwards treadmill... I've been using the stair climber backwards, is that a good substitution?
ОтветитьDerek is the man, I have personally witnessed his gift, He truly cares to see people free to be more mobile and strong.
Ответитьbens mom is the goat
ОтветитьDo you think calisthenics / weighted calis is better for longevity compared to weightlifting
ОтветитьBen,..i cannot thank you enough for these videos. Please dont take them away.
My wife had undergone an endoscopic spinal decompression at L3L4 & L5S1 levels via procedure called radio frequency ablation in Feb of 2024 due to unbearable radiculopathies shooting down both her lower limbs. Its been 8 months since her procedure and she is still on Lyrica as the pain had not completely abated. With Lyrica tho she has been pain free.
Are these exercises safe for someone like her?
