way to much caulking to start with. Push the tip don't pull it

I use 1000000 of tubes of silicone and frankly all these ideas are rubbish
Simply cut the applicator to the size of gap that needs filling and only squeeze enough that you don’t over spill and make a mess

The first method, just cut closer to the tip of the caulk so the hole is smaller. Duh

So basically a smaller nozzle could of been cut plus no one who knows how to run sealant in puts that much pressure into it with their finger

Spraying soap liquid on it gets the silicone loosen from the tile. Any micro gap between silicon and tile will cause further problems because the soap is in.

It’s not a good idea to spray the bead before tooling it as if there are any little gaps the soap will get in between and it won’t adhere, a nice even bead can be tooled dry with a bit of practice and it won’t fail
