I really like claudio echeverri, however I think that he's making a mistake going to Guardiola and the Premier League.
Echeverri is a spontaneous footballer and Guardiola likes to micromanage footballers.
Look at what he did to Jack Grealish. Jack Grealish was a very free, spontaneous footballer picking up the ball in many different positions like Echeverri but look at Grealish now. He looks like he is afraid to touch the football.
Also the structure of Premier League football is very different from South American football. Echeverri likes to play in between the midfield and the attack. That space exists in South America, La Liga and Serie A but it is very congested in the Premier League. That is why the Premier League does not produce footballers like Kaka and Riquelme who also liked to play inbetween the midfield and attack

Those turns with the ball are priceless at any level, The Premier League and Manchester City are going to be in for a treat
