The novel is not BL but I don't know what the author was thinking because even fans of the novel felt no chemistry between the FL and male lead. She was forced in our faces and, amazingly, the director portrays their chemistry in the novel here as well. So fans of the novel just ship them together and when the drama came out fans of the drama did the same 😂😂. I wanted to know what the author thought, like what were you thinking you wrote an ML and SML that have more chemistry together than the female which I don't even consider the FL.

I’m watching it right now and I could feel the tension before the two every time they met I’m like at ep 15 I haven’t seen them together for like 9 eps 😭

I completed watching all of the episodes until the ending last year. It was so good actually, to the point that I want a season 2 from them. The drama circles around friendship, adventure, brotherhood, Martial Arts, Action, Wuxia, Youth, Fantasy. The bond of the characters was so cute and cool at the same time. They were all crackheads too 🤭🤣♥️ They had a great chemistry with each other to the point that I even shipped Xiao Se or Prince Yong An to almost all his friends or more like brothers like Wuxin and Lei Wu Jie. The youth or the friends even at young age fight as one for justice for everyone and soar high. The Blood of Youth was worth to watch 🫶🏻

I watched the entire show and i am back 😂

They totally remind me of Wu Xie and Xiao ge from Reunion : Sound of Providence.
Wu Xin always coming to the rescue just like how Zhang Qiling coming to Wu Xie's rescue.
Wu Xin only appears in few episodes just like Zhang Qiling in Reunion even though he's the main character.
Finally Xiao se trying to rescue Wu Xin just like Wu Xie trying to rescue Zhang Qiling but still ended up getting saved by the other.

It's so frustrating to see your favourite character gets less screentime when they are the life of the show and i am robbed of so many moments.

i really loved Chinese bromance dramas, since lots of them are masterpieces. this drama is good just in first half for me, i enjoyed it first, but then i gave up it after about 16 episodes. cuz there was a clingy girl who always tried to follow xiao se, her obsesión was creepy. she really was annoying. it's look like xiao se not really into that girl, he's not interested in but can't help with that girl's obsession with him. i didn't see any chemistry between them. iirrrrk I feel so bad. also in novel, donghua and drama xiao se always remember wuxie, worried about him so xiao se got sick when he was in the boat, he was also in his dreams. the drama got boring when the two female characters entered. they labeled it as a bromance series and main leads were male characters. but i saw a good bromance among male trio just in first episodes. although wuxie is a male lead he didn't get enough screen time. i want to see xiao se, wuxie and lei wuji together, and their adventures, if there's a season 2
