video quality is really good, a bit sad your discord is paid discord, it's very expensive for non american
ОтветитьSoooo happy to see you're back bro
ОтветитьIt's about time
ОтветитьYou're killing it! Keep on building!
ОтветитьThat discord like platform for developers sounds awesome! And a huge undertaking. If you ever need any help, I'd love to volunteer my time.
ОтветитьSo which city are you moving to? Also how would you rate leaving in NYC as a swe and founder?
ОтветитьMy thoughts, stick with the current model until polished... a new social media platform would do the opposite of making it user friendly.. we are all trying to have everything in one space... just my personal opinion! :)
ОтветитьHi bro..where have you been...you got me worried...
ОтветитьI love the idea of instant discord setup! I am so new to discord so this feature would be so helpful.
ОтветитьThis whole journey is so much value to anyone just starting out!
ОтветитьHey Jacob! I think Skool ticks all the boxes for the software you talk about at the end of the video
ОтветитьHi Jacob, love your videos! Have you seen buildspace nights and weekends? You might like it! 👍
ОтветитьLet’s goooo
ОтветитьGood to see you back!!
ОтветитьWoooohooo!! Jacob's back. I had a quick question, so i am a fullstack college dev student and I want to know for myself as some1 who just builds fully functional web apps how do you deal with security concerns because sometime I have times when I think to myself how easy it would be if some1 were to exploit my code etc. Maybe i am just overthinking it, but would love to hear your advice on this dude. Like always amazing content and Subbb looks insane bro!
p.S - Also curious how did you learn everything about Nest.js
DO NOT TAKE SO MUCH TIME FOR A NEW VIDEO😭
ОтветитьThis is a serious question.....How many cups of coffee do you have a day🤣🤣🤣🤣
Ответитьwatching this inspires me and take as brain storming for my own app, which is not related to your topic but also realising how important the sense of community is. thank you and keep it up!
ОтветитьThere is nothing that could teach more about creating something then seeing you think 24/7 and actually building. Your mentality and constant hype-vibe is so motivating. As always, thanks dude. You are helping me personally a lot. You taught me that all problems can and should be broken up to smaller pieces and that it doesn't matter if you didn't do a lot on a specific day, what matters is the progress. I do not know if these are intentional, but these are the things I took away from your videos. Why are we devs if we are not constantly building? Let's gooooo🙌
ОтветитьI love your energy man, makes me want to build something
Ответитьtotally agree with you that the culture of people is moving toward communities of common shared interest, based on helping the other person and not taking for yourself! :)
this is the basis of the right timing for you and the work for your startup!
Watching the video now I'm curious... What equipment do you use to record? Tripod, Mic, Camera?
ОтветитьThe post-coffee, coffee certainly seems to give the videos a little extra energy haha
ОтветитьWhat if a person joins by paying and after which he gets the discord link and shares it with others ?!
ОтветитьVoice seems bit different man. am i hearing the millionaire here 😁. Keep going brother 🚀
ОтветитьLong way of saying you're doing product management lol! As always a great video.
ОтветитьDid u get a haircut?
ОтветитьI need to create the tech stack meme for you 😆great vlog as always bro!
Ответитьactullay i like your idea startup
Ответитьice water and not coffee?! oh no.. its all downhill from here
ОтветитьWhat is your camera?
Ответитьbuilding a startup is tough..building a startup solo is though asf. Respect & Good luck!
ОтветитьI missed you bro hahaha
ОтветитьWork with nang and frying pan
ОтветитьI started with nest js recently and love it. But why do you use nest js instead of building it in api folder in next js is it for separate backend and front end or performance? 😄
Ответитьwhat theme do you use in your vscode Jacob?
ОтветитьWhat platform(s) do you use to host your apps? Also do you use managed Database services like PlanetScale or Neon?
ОтветитьHey Jacob, awsome vid as always. I am an aspiring solo dev (currently a cs student) who is also working on some kl projects. I was wondering based on your experience and journey if you could kindly share your insight into how you consider writing secure code, in other words how do you think about all the possible loop holes that could exist if some malicious person tried to hack your app etc.
ОтветитьI just wanna know how to you learn codding and how much days it's taken
ОтветитьThese are so helpful and motivating to anyone starting out. Thanks for another great video and spending time to create/edit them. You and Maddie are kicking butt. :)
ОтветитьYour long-term idea sounds what Skool is doing ?
ОтветитьDo you need help building it?
ОтветитьBasically you are trying to create an only fans for educational purposes?
ОтветитьWhat camera do you use @Jacob Sucks At Code ?
ОтветитьWhat is the support email of subbb? I bought a subscription, but the system has a bug inviting me to the Discord server
ОтветитьFinally, you made the correct desicion, build a brand new platform dedicate for creators is too heavy for a startup. We need to take it easy.
