ОтветитьI don't understand why people ever called him "Blade" when you first meet him he literally says his name. 💀
ОтветитьGwyn Blaidd? Now that's a nice Geralt of Rivia reference
ОтветитьYoo another welsh person!!
Ответитьit would make sense ranni would pronounce it correctly, her voice actress IS welsh
ОтветитьConner speaks Welsh, and Mouse's floor starts glowing.
ОтветитьIt's actually so cool how Ireland and Wales teach their native languages and keep them alive. We have a little bit of that with Maori in New Zealand, but the coverage is nothing like what they have over there.
ОтветитьI never heard anyone call him blade
ОтветитьIt's hard to mispronounce something when you're told how say it repeatedly by multiple characters
ОтветитьYou're telling me if child me dind't have shit teachers and classmates that made him feel so shitty that he didn't wanna pay attention and just wanted the lessons to be over with I could be speaking Elden Ring as a second language right now?
ОтветитьActually F and Δ are worlds apart but i guess it is a L and R situation
ОтветитьWelsh is just a nordic language but dumb and useless
ОтветитьI mean, the welsh don't have much, but at least you can correctly pronoune elden ring characters and your flag is pretty sweet.
Ответитьim welsh and i love understanding connor when some people have no clue what he is saying😂
ОтветитьCannur using his Brythonic language
ОтветитьFun fact: Blaidd just means “wolf” in Welsh
I found this out today 💀
Imagine you take a teleporter to an eldritch region, and you see it name appearing : "Llanfairpwllgwyngyllgogerychwyrndrobwllllantysiliogogogoch"
ОтветитьI don't why people didn't just copy the way Ranni said it
saying it like 'blade' is stinky
He even introduced himself. "Blaithe"
ОтветитьI only knew how to pronounce Blaidd because of Dr Who.
ОтветитьMost times I've heard it Blaidd was pronounced correctly
ОтветитьPisses me off sooooooo much that they pronounce it correctly in the game but everyone else still pronounces it "Blade"
Ответитьfe ddaw ein dydd 🏴 ,ie Cymru
ОтветитьDwi wastad yn siarad Elden Ring de. Tin goro practisio tipyn Bach mwy Connor Bach 💛
ОтветитьGwyn means white also blessed or blessed one and blydd means wolf
Ответитьthis whole time i thought they were trying to be quirky by spelling it one way and pronouncing it another, had no idea it was welsh
ОтветитьWait, welsh as similarities with the langage i speak ? Well, the one i spoke, when i learned in preschool and primary school, well i guessed before he could say that gwyn was white in welsh cuz, in 'breton' (french name of this langage that i don't know how it's called in english, f*ck me i guess.) White is gwen, it's not pronounced exaclty the same cuz uh... idki'm not good at explaining langages. . .
Anyways, i'm happy [:
Bro this must be like the coolest experience. To most people its just fairy tale speak. To him its home lol
ОтветитьYou ask a guy where he lives and he tells you northern Elden Ring.
ОтветитьCatboy Gormotti reconnects with his culture in Elden Ring.
ОтветитьFuck accent is this mind?
ОтветитьIts funny how often i find this happens, half the Ayleid ruins in Oblivion have welsh names and all the Avaar ruins in Dragon age have welsh names too.
Ответитьthere are 69 words for sheep in welsh
ОтветитьI bet you can try and make a video where you fluently speak in Welsh all the way through
Ответитьi want him to stream only speaking welsh and most of us gotta decode what he is saying without a knowledge of any welsh
ОтветитьI want to see a video game with a "fantasy language" when it's actually tagalog. Everybody gangsta until one of the characters say "PUTANG INA MO"
ОтветитьWhen I pronounced his name (the way the character pronounced it) my roommate INSISTED I was pronouncing it wrong despite him also hearing the characters say it
ОтветитьBao coming 😂😂😂😂
ОтветитьBladee mentioned
ОтветитьOk but like how on Earth does a double d make an th.
ОтветитьConsidering they use actual languages like Latin and for the writing systems actual, Aramaic/Hebrew and Norse Futhark Runes they definitely also used welsh.
In general interesting that Miyazaki likes to use real languages, from our world in his works and not usually something made up.
Imagine if they gave this game a full Welsh localisation
ОтветитьIts awesome that you make such great content despite your speech impediment
Ответитьi swear in my game she says blaidd not blaifffff
ОтветитьFfrind is two f's... one F makes a "v" sound. Clearly isnt very good at welsh is he
