My natural, untreated jade does not glow or fluoresce under black light, except for a single small speck that does. Some suggest this could be due to residual wax from the finishing process or other naturally occurring minerals deposit. From your perspective, could it be possible that it is just wax or other minerals?

The store where my husband purchased it has been open for less than a year, and they claim to sell only genuine jade. I am sending my jade bangle to the GIA lab on Monday for verification, but I wanted to get your insight on whether wax or mineral deposits could be the cause.
