CASIO G-SHOCK GD 350 watch review of the hidden gem and better than the 5600 5610??

I've bought almost every model g and find myself going back the the GD350-8 or for slim wrist I recommend dw 9052 or dw5600e...the 3 vib alarm is my favorite thing about the GD350s

I ordered this watch last night from the casio store on eBay. Cost me $85. I almost bought watches that were cheaper but ended up getting the G Shock because I wanted to increase my punching power. Mine is gray and I liked the design. I will probably get another G Shock in the future but an analog one next time. I'm also liking the Caterpillar brand watches to be honest but I haven't researched them. My dad retired from the army and worked for Caterpillar for like 15 years. He wore a Caterpillar watch that the company gave him for free.

I've had this baby for exactly one year now. It's been through a lot of sport activities including snorkeling at the beach and I LOVE IT! It's big, tough and awesome looking. Absolutely my favorite digital g shock.

Do you know if it's possible to set the timer to repeat itself, so that the vibe will go off every 10mins, or however long? If that makes sense?

I've got Jays and kays adapters + metal bracelet + bullbars on mine. Makes it even more tool like / rugged. I bought three GD350s as I depend on the vibrating alarm and because I just love the design.

Got mine today... My first G -shock❤️... I love square design...GD 350 is unique in G shock world...

I have had quite a few G-shocks now, the GD-350 range are the best in my opinion with standard functions, the best standard display and also the negative display is the best

I just wander if any elite units use the 350 over others lol I no I've used mine for 2 yrs now the arms 2 to 3 per day and still no battery change YET I bought afew in case just keeping tabs on it atm

STill nothing can beat the good old Rangeman GW-9400 ;) I realy dislike the "NO" solar and "NO" MB6 casio g-shock watches...

Just ordered the GD-350 for military purpose, best budget military watch on the market was looking to get the Rangeman but decided against it as this one beats it on price my miles! Missing a few features but great watch for the price £90 will be here in two days

The GD-350,s are without doubt one of G-Shock,s greatest creations......Such a shame they decided to discontinue the Model........I have two.......And will cherish them both.

Great review, nice watch. Even though it's one of my more basic watches the GD 350 might secretly be my favourite out of all my G-Shocks (yes, I've had an issue with buying too many Casios over the years). There's something about the 350 screen ergonomics and screen colour and clarity that really draws the eye. I sleep with this watch every night and consider it a trusted rugged ally when I'm in-the-field. A great piece of equipment and I've also been surprised that this watch didn't get more attention and love from Casio buyers-reviewers in general. I did early on remove the wings or flaps, it didn't quite sit right on my big bony wrists, but after doing so was a perfect fit and took away a little bulk of the watch. Casio forever! And continued success with your reviews!

How to change battery in the gd-350 g-shock watch

I also have the “deathstar grey” one. Honestly it’s my favorite G Shock. Huge battery for long life. The biggest clearest display in the line. Silent vibe alert. Dual/world time, stopwatch and prioritized integration of the mission/countdown timer. The only stock band style I like in the line. The brightest backlight as well. I love the GW6900 and 5910 but this is the epitome of a tactical/hard use watch. It is big…but honestly the way it is you don’t need bull bars unless you just want them. If you ever wear it too badly you can easily replace the bezel anyway. 👍 If they ever quit making these I’ll buy a couple more on the spot.

Love this watch, I have 3 of them. 1 -grey positive display, 2 - black negative displays. Both are very legible. Vibration alert is a game changer for me, my old ears can't hear the beeps. It's my favorite out of the 12 or so G's I own. Battery change is very simple.

Which one do you think looks good overall.. grey one with positive display vs Black one with negative display.. I am inclined towards grey but I am afraid it would be too grey for my liking.. but don't wanna go with all black too because I feel lots of details of the watch and bezel gets lost because of the black colour when seen from a distance. Please help me out🙁 I am a big overthinker

Completely underrated, is amazing and super confortable. Those flaps hug the wrist perfectly. I absolutely love it 🥰❤️

Negative display for me as it is so readable compared to the 'average' G-shock negative display. I set the vibe-alarm one minute 1 minute before my regular bedside alarm, it usually wakes me.
I served in the Army in the late 1970's, I wish this watch was available then.

Can you please tell if the grey rubber is actual color of the plastic? Or does it wear out?

I had bad experience with white g-shock. The paint goes off and it looks awfully rubbish after 1 year of wearing it. Now i am afraid of buying painted watches. Is this grey colour a kind of coating, or is it the colour of the plastic itself?

i have a blacked out gd 350 and it's now getting the most wrist time of all my watches. as the other dude said, it would've been better if it's a tough solar but it is what it is.

I love mine. The best feature for me is the easy to find front and center light button.

I've had a mudmaster for a while now but I've decided to get rid of it in favour of this, it just seems to be much more functional without any of the gimmicky functions that I'm pretty sure don't even work 😂

I picked one of these today here in the states and I was really surprised that it looked just fine on a smaller wrist. I have seen a few reviews and tutorials where they mentioned that it has been discontinued. Is that true? If it is, I feel kind of lucky to have picked one up. Love the vibe alarm. I set it for 5:00 am just to see if it will wake me up. If anyone has any comments about the vibe alarm, I'd like to hear your thoughts. Thanks for the review. Very good.

Thanks for showing. I ordered this watch now with a negative display. From the UK, because I couldn't find it in Germany. Since the brexit shipping from the UK unfortunately isn't as easy anymore as before. I want this watch with the vibration alarm for my work because sometimes it is so loud in my job, that the acoustic alarm isn't audible.

i picked up this fantastic watch in 2017 while serving. its been used and abused over the years and it still works flawlessly today!

Very good review, I have this model in gray and of all the G-shocks I have it is my favorite, it has very good readability on the screen and its design is spectacular, I did not know they had discontinued it, I bought it very recently with the screen in Positive, I think it has a very good quality-price ratio, greetings from Spain.

I love my GD350. Bought it back in 2014. The battery finally gave out. Gave it a new band, bezel and battery. Hoping for another 10 years.

I bought the GD 350 about two months ago just to try it out because it looked kind of cool, as it turns out it has now become my favorite G-Shock, and Casio for that matter... absolutely love the rugged aesthetics of this watch... the legibility is phenomenal... the backlight is one of the best I've seen.... The watch as a whole is just awesome... I can't even think of anything negative to say about it... I guess if I really wanted to nitpick (and that's just what it is nitpicking) The metal-ish Button that controls the timer, should be able to turn it off as well as turn it on instead of having to go into that mode to stop it and reset it, but again that's being extremely nitpicky

Im currently torn between buying the gd-350 or the 5610u, i currently own the b5600 which would be similar to the 5610u but with a positive display.

Does the G-shock GD-350 watch have an internal switch that allows you to fine-tune its precision? I had already seen on some forum (I don't remember which one) that there is a key for this purpose. Could you tell me how to access this key? Hugs,

Wish they made a solar version of this

I have the negative display and took the flaps off of the watch as they kept pinching my skin and hairs. I really wish G Shock would make a Tough Solar, Multiband 6 version of this exact same watch. It's literally the only complaint I have. Having to adjust the time every few weeks to have precise time is a nuisance but it's better than wearing the wannabe smart watch G shocks. I don't need a smart watch...I have a phone!

Brother. The only part that you haven't covered is the most essential part of this watch. The vibration. Also, direct access to timer functionality. :) anyway. Thanks for the vid.

What model is the green watch that you show?

I had to order one cause they are discontinued so we all know the price won't get lower once the stock runs dry. I have the GD400 and it's a cool looking watch but I'm amazed at how much better the 350s functions are. They are basically the same watch but it's like they dumbed down the 400 yet sell it for more?
I do like the looks of the 400 I got the green grey with gold bull bars. I have a feeling once I get the 350 I won't wear my other watches for long while. It's a really cool good looking watch and the double hole band is also a plus.
