I looked into those shackles however i couldnt find any real load testing done on them. Unsure how strong those would be when not a straight on pull. Audio is good btw. Keep the camera.

Ummm, traction boards in this case? Would spread the weight of that truck...

My guess is that it’s a DJI .I know of several YT people that use them and they don’t talk much about having audio/video issues.

One thing I've learned from watching Casey is that if I ever get stuck far from pavement I should make sure there are some handy trees. It seems like if you have a winch, some gear, trees, and a bit of geometrical and mechanical sense you could perhaps get yourself out.

Other then being able to read road signs and fuel pumps the 1K is fine over the 4K

Why didn't you just jumper the fan motor to always on, if the key is on? Simple roadside fix.

People often overestimate thei 4x4 pick up trucks

The driver of the dodge looked to be using too much throttle and digging. On consolidated late season snow you should be able to lower tire pressure, run in 4 low, and feather the throttle to keep the rpm's just above idle, easing off a bit whenever the tire starts to spin. I could see that Casey kept driving the Jeep more in this manner, but the other driver didn't seem to follow suit. Granted the Dodge is heavier, but the tires looked large enough to provide enough flotation if they were aired down sufficiently.

Somebody shoulda said to the customer to keep the revs down.

I used to have a van with a 4.3 that thing burned 40% more fuel on 87 pulling a trailer. So I only used 91 after that. I've seen what can happen opening the cap on a boiling engine.

A nice episode Casey! What's the difference between your truck and the customer's? You both had 4 wheel drive, and you could get in and out no trouble yet the customer was struggling. Is it tyres, ground clearance, weight? something else?

Yeah....that slow crawl through traffic with no fans probably was not very helpful! Kinda odd that it waited to actually overheat until you were out of that and running air through the rad though. It's no longer compromised....you fixed it!

If the car is moving at 45 MPH it should be good w/o fan running. Is the thermometer a higher temp? I would run the heater full blast if it was overheating.
