Awesome high quality content, Chris! Love the new pace and details. ❤👍

It looks amazing, might need to frame this and put on the wall

There are two main reasons that the JWST image contains so much more detail and background galaxies than the Hubble image of the same area. The first is obvious; the greatly superior surface area of JWST's primary mirror(s). The second is less obvious, but perhaps more important. JWST has an ability Hubble does not, it can "see" (detect) wavelengths of light not just approaching but well into the infrared. Many distant light sources like the background galaxies give off visible light, but are so far away that their light has red-shifted SO much that most (or all) of it is now only detectable from our position in the cosmos by looking for its infrared wavelengths.

It’s so incredible, it is almost better than any artist could ever paint from imagination

That image is fake. How do infrared only sensors make a full color image? It can’t.

Why do all (sic) ytube popularizers never just tell their audience this? Condescension? Ignorance themselves?

Makes me sad to see how cavalier with the “facts” “scientists” have become on ytube.

IR and near-IR wavelengths are invisible to human eyes.

The colors you rave about were artificially added by people during image post-processing.

I love the photobombing galaxies! Many other researchers can comb through that data.

A skeptic would think that this is an artist rendering, a really good artist. Actually, God did it.

Amazing how the JWST fleshes out all those galaxies that the Hubble misses.

Nice presentation. I’d like this image as a big poster or a projection on a wall. Every time you look you could see something different.
