Got the tool trucks stopping by your farm... Living your best life I see. Back when I worked on cars professionally I had the snap on truck stop by my house once. That was in a different life. Now that I drive commercial trucks, run articulated boom cranes and operate heavy equipment for a living the only times I work on stuff for work I'm using thier tools. Mine stay at home. Gone are the days when I had the tool truck stopping by. Gone are the days of buying tools from trucks. Now any specialty tools I buy are bought on the internet. Cool new mini pry bar set. I can think of some things they'd be good for. That looks like a nice ratchet too. I like the color scheme. Also despite biases about brands that is respectable that you are supporting a tool vendor who is just starting out. Keep up the good work.
God bless
No matter if matco doesn’t make their own tools if the truck guy is a good dealer buy something he’s just trying to make ends meet like the rest of us.
ОтветитьYeah, they do rebrand items. That said they are often exclusive to Matco — take their air tools and their ratchets for instance. There’s still a lot of great stuff that carries the Matco name.
ОтветитьLove those black chrome ratchets
ОтветитьI just got a new matco dealer Tuesday, we had one before but it was when I first started and he got fired for embezzling money from mechanics of the various shops, only thing I ordered was a black and purple ratchet that just came out ur thoughts on the purple?
ОтветитьYeah I have those mini pry bars real good! I’m assuming oem or lyle prob make them.
ОтветитьI got a red handle black chrome ratchet. Same one bought it when they first came out. Beat the piss out of it never broke the ratchet mech. Only wore out the lock on the flexhead. Fixed twice. Also got the giant 1/2 ratchet same handle huge flex head I use as a breaker bar
ОтветитьThose little pry bars can be really handy I like them
ОтветитьSucks that you gotta keep spending moneyy to have someone show up for warranty calls. Almost like its not worth paying more for guaranteed tools. I wish I had just bought Proto stuff and I can take it to the industrial supply store for warranty..
ОтветитьI have this ratchet and I love it . That said I never would have paid the price personally but I bought a full repo'd toolbox from the Gearwrench guy and it was full of snap on matco and Cornwell. I ended with 15k in tools for 5500👌
ОтветитьOhhhhh, big spender, throwing that cash.
ОтветитьCan you find the manufacturer for the new flex head ratcheting wrench’s on the back of that catalog.
ОтветитьMy matco dealer was better option in my place as well. Snap on guy. Pretty much hated him for his business practice. Mac guy never comes by. Cornwell is spotty too.
But everyone except snap on guy was good about payment plans an thats especially good for guys starting out. Why I spent 50k with matco an 300$ with snap on an few thousand with other two.
Kiss him on the peepee
ОтветитьTurns out Mr Subaru he craps on Marco because he makes money from people buying the other products...lost all respect sir.
ОтветитьI need to find a Matco dealer. I bought Matco stuff online when I was in school and need somethings replaced
ОтветитьI’m the same way, whoever is the most consistent with stopping in and the best to deal with is getting the most of my business.. for a long time that was the snap on rep. The The new matco guy has been pretty good recently too so I make an effort to find something I need from him.
ОтветитьThose matco pocket pry bars are junk, I used it for a month or two and ended up twisting the handle off and my Matco dealer wouldn’t stop by so I bought the snap-on pocket prybar and it’s been going 8 months strong haven’t even bent the tip
ОтветитьI wish you had cornwell
ОтветитьMatco has always rebranded other than there boxes
ОтветитьDude, you're hoarding tools at this point
ОтветитьI got the red ratchet but got the same blue mini pry bars, already lost my 90
ОтветитьA (new) broken in Matco ratchet outshines any snap on ratchet IMO. Matco may rebrand tools but can’t touch their ratchets.
ОтветитьSo are you saying you now don’t care about them rebranding everything they sell or you want the new dealer to keep coming to you?
ОтветитьI can walk I'm not really cripple. I just felt bad for the chair. But I hate sitting down. (sits back down in chair.)
ОтветитьAny relationship that I feel pressured to "throw some money their way" is an unhealthy relationship
ОтветитьAh yes, the old "establishing a relationship, purchase". We've all been there :)
ОтветитьWe needs to protect this man's at all costs the true genuine channel for fixing cars and tools broo keep that work up A1
ОтветитьI have that ratchet and pry bar set very satisfied
ОтветитьMr Subaru i have a question on a 2004 subaru forrester can you help me out
ОтветитьThat ratchet is one of my favorites. I had the comparable snappy on, hated having to constantly tighten the torx bolt that adjusts the slop in the flex head, haven’t looked back since trading it in.
ОтветитьThose mini pry bars are sweet I have had some for about 8 months I probably pull at least one out a day
ОтветитьMy dealers name is bill too 🤔
ОтветитьDid you win the lottery or do you overcharge your Subaru customers like the dealers do?
ОтветитьI love my matco rep. Dude doesn't pressure me into buying anything unnecessary and if there's something im interested in but he doesn't have on the truck he specially orders it and lets me know when its there
ОтветитьI bought a set of deep 1/4 chrome sockets from matco and when they came thr chrome was chipped off a few of the sockets and the print on them wasnt legible on about 3 of them. I returned them immediately and bought some snap ons instead.
ОтветитьThe mini pry bars are the BEST for electrical connectors, I have the Mac version tho
ОтветитьI have that same ratchet. It sucks, the flex head lock constantly stripping the locking teeth. I am on my 4 replacement head in 2 years.
ОтветитьAs a student, i only dream of buying a tool just to buy a tool 😂
ОтветитьIt’s a nice ratchet. Mine has some decent play in the lock for the flex head tho
ОтветитьSo basically you only care about what's convenient
ОтветитьI buy only Matco for the very reason that they do rebrand. They rebrand very good tools and it saves me money. I haven't bought a single snap-on tool, EVER and never will. Snap-on is just an over priced name. I make a very good living with my Matco tools so I'm not impressed with anyone that dogs on a good product.
ОтветитьI want that mini pry bar set. That ratchet is my go to on the job... Snap on changed their adjustable head design so we'll see who'll be my go to after I get the snap on version
ОтветитьU need to get a cornwell rep bub
ОтветитьI have that ratchet and use it everyday for everything
ОтветитьGot the 3/8 and 1/4 as my trusty spares love the colors, they are almost wasted. But I worked for it
ОтветитьAw man I was hoping you were going to expose them again and show us where we can get those black ratchets at 😭😭😭😭
ОтветитьAre the pocket pry bars same as tekton?
ОтветитьThem pocket pry bars are 👌
ОтветитьThat ratchet is actually one of my favorites and I'm a huge snap-on fan
