I personally really hope for a pudding update later... maybe April can do an "anniversary" episode with people who were previously on the show sending in some videos/photos of their spaces after some time passed? I wonder how many continued to declutter much more stuff... Well, a girl can dream :D

Shells. Make a shadow box for the wall

Between the charming Cassi and the adorable Alto, the fantastic husband efforts, and thecsweetly satisfying music that accompanies the before/after payoff photos, i just feel pure joy! This is the boost I look forward to whenever April brings her (hardworking, focused, compassionate) magic to people's spaces.

Alto is going to be sooooo happppppy to have his friends over to play, but more importantly, his busy mom and dad will be able to focus on doing their best WITH HIM rather than feeling so down about the overwhelming clutter situation!

I am still putting my home in order, to set up a home office so I can have a DOOR, and PRIVACY!

I am closer than ever, after a couple of YEARS of effort following a lengthy illness episode.

My home is still energetically stuck, but my husband & I started clearing out our front entryway & my husband's bedroom, which is now starting to be very navigable.

It takes a LOT of focus, and willingness to deal with emotions that float to the surface as you move things around and go through old boxes full of stuff you loved & then forgot.

KUDOS TO APRIL, JACKSON, CASSI, ALTO & HUBBY.

What wonderful people, who totally deserve a home refresh!

Idea for the shells: decorate plants with them! I cover up the visible soil in plant pots with pretty shells, rocks and fossils etc. 😊

I love the updates at the end. I think it would also be fun to get a five minute update at the end of the year from all the “space makers” from the year. A compilation update.

Decision fatigue is REAL for so many of us! She powered through and accomplished so much. I collect clutter & overconsumption is an issue. I do try to declutter but it’s sometimes a monster. Sometimes “later” is a great method to use in the system. When I do feel the decluttering urges, I use my “later” pile for a double dopamine boost: declutter (of course) & ‘shop at home’. Such great friends to help with kids while progress is made. ❤❤❤

I said it before but I'll say it again, this was one of my faves so far just because I've lived in Japan before and I have so so many little knickknacks from there I have difficulty parting with and I am ALSO a teacher, so the hoarding is real xD I've gotten better over time but it's nice to watch these relatable videos to motivate myself again :D

i wiiiish we have something like book off here because it sounds so good for decluttering things that are not trash (of course, assuming they want to take it!) that someone else might have better use or love for. i live in a relatively small town so there isnt really any donation centres... maybe one electronic recycling centre and the red crescent, which of course is not a thrift store but a charity so you cant just 'dump' anything you want. i miss living in the city where there are actual thrift stores/second hand bookstores, i didnt realise how good i had it for a few good years :'3
