Any analysis of Zverev should include the fact that he will collapse mentally when things get down to the wire. This guy should have won 5 slams by now but there is a reason why he's still at zero.

Let’s face it… the big three just got old, is that simple! He’s not seriously hurt and he’s trained and prepared to compete. But his competition is way younger than him. Not only younger but extremely good too. He can no longer bully and punish the opponents on the court like he used to so he has to be very tactical and use his vast experience to perform well. He’s performed well on many occasions but as of lately it hasn’t been enough. That doesn’t take away from his greatness, his record will be hard to beat, but I think it might be time for him to retire…

The problem. They are on different ends of the mental toughness scale. Djoker is the best ever, Zverev falters in almost every big match.
