I had the honor of pushing Koa into his first wave, and almost drowning him when he fell off halfway in! Your mom had a dream that you’d drowned, and cautioned Hilda and I about it… but did I listen??!! No…just glad you were able to cling onto the leash until I swam to you. Did you know that I surfed every single place on this vid? Alone. Or with one other guy. La Bamba was the gnarliest, as someone was shooting at us in the water from the hill above.
