Pros & Cons of Living in Ventura, CA in 2023!

Loved the vid, been in Ventura my whole life so its cool to see people talk about all the things you can do in town

How about the trendy of mobile home in city of ventura? I mean price point still touchable?

Ventura was great until the democrats from la migrated to my town and fucked it up beyond belief. It’s really sad to see what Ventura has become. But rest assured we will make Ventura great again. I will be running for public office in Ventura

Ventura is an old white only, rich boring old place. Yes the scenery is nice, for a 20 -30 year olds. this is not the place to be(especially if you are a minority as there are zero here). I was astonished how un diverse this place is in terms of people. Its like living in Utah with a beach. It is very small and is to far to go to LA or SB as you would need to plan to be there the entire day or weekend. Also its they keep all the Hispanics in Oxnard and all the rich white people live in Ventura FYI.

Our small family is moving to Ventura in the next couple of years from Santa Cruz, Ca. Curious about the culture there. I'm sure there are similarities, but hoping for a less socially stunted environment as Santa Cruz. I ask because the wife will want to find other Moms to hang out with. Worked great in Vegas when we were there temporarily, but worried Ventura might be like Santa Cruz in that anti-social way also. A friend who grew up in Ventura said it was very segregated if anyone has comment on that also.
